“We have been completely satisfied with all aspects of our holiday The customer service received from Canada Travel Specialists was brilliant and they were always available to answer questions or queries which arose. They booked our holiday within the budget given and the hotels were all excellent and in the centre of towns. We received all our paperwork as promised a week before departure and our issues with refunds are being dealt with promptly. We cannot fault the service received and would not hesitate to use them again for any holiday. Our specialist were Scott and Anne-Marie and we thank them both for all their help.”

“Adla organised our trip to Canada. Very professional, everything went smoothly. We stayed in very pleasant hotels in prime areas after completing our cruise to Alaska crossing from the west of Canada to the east. We particularly enjoyed our two day journey on the Rocky Mountaineer. Our connections as identified in our schedule ran to time and date including the days at specific venues. It was certainly a trip to remember.”

“Adla was extremely personable, asked the right questions to understand what we wanted, and produced an itinerary that clearly reflected our conversations. Adla made it clear that anything we wanted or had to budget for could be considered and that alternatives and solutions could be found if the itinerary needed tweaking. Adla projected a definite Can-Do attitude, which inspired confidence that our holiday will be as good as it sounds. Adla was efficient, fast and really knows her subject. Excellent service. We would like to come back to do another review when we have been on the holiday next May/June.”

“Michelle Holt booked our Canada and Alaska Trip back in 2019. Due to the pandemic it was put back and I didn’t need to worry because Michelle kept me up to date and didn’t worry me with the changes she did them and confirmed everything was ok. It is an expensive trip but you can make it exactly as you want it. The excursions Michelle sorted out were amazing. The Rocky Mountineer is a must and go Gold leaf again Michelle recommended. I will definitely use Barrhead Travel again”

“I responded to Canada Travel's advert regarding the Ultimate Journey with Calgary Stampede next June/July 2023. I spoke to Adla who sealed the deal because of her knowledge of the subject, speed of response to my queries and overall capability in concluding a satisfactory and speedy result. “We had an amazing holiday on the west coast of Canada touring across from Vancouver over The Rockies. Adla, with her great expertise and customer service, helped us to plan & book this fantastic trip at a very competitive price. Everything was spot on that Adla recommended and booked for us from the flights, to the route itinerary, the hotels along the way and the car hire. Would definitely recommend Adla and Barrhead travel to other travellers and we will be contacting her again for our next trip.”

“When we booked our trans-Canada holiday with Alaska cruise, I wondered if it could be worth the considerable sum. I need have had no doubts - our experience was brilliant all the way. All arrangements by Barrhead went smoothly and the screenshots of my FB posts accompanying tell the whole story. Michelle at Barrhead was very pleasant to deal with and I can thoroughly recommend.”

“Adla has made the process of organising and booking our holiday easy and enjoyable; we started with a vague idea of what we wanted and she was able to offer itinerary suggestions, a dose of realism and always wanted us to get the most adventures possible within our budget. We were never made to feel a nuisance when we had amendments and tweaks that we wanted to make and our long list of questions were dealt with sincerely and promptly. With 11 months to go, we feel in safe hands and have no worries or concerns. Thank you Adla.”

“We have just returned from a fabulous holiday which was arranged by Annie Macaldowie. We began with a 3 night stay in Toronto, which included a whole day trip to Niigata falls. We then flew to Calgary and began a well organised trip across Canada including the ice fields Parkway, Banff, Jasper and ended up with 2 days on the Rocky Mountaineer. After time in Vancouver, we then had a 7 night Celebrity cruise around Alaska after which we flew back from Vancouver. All the transfers, tours and arrangements went smoothly. We had waited 3 years to finally take this holiday but it was well worth the wait! thank you Anne for all your help!”

“Just want to thank Adla so much for all her hard work in organising our trip - both originally when first planned for 2020 and sticking with us throughout the 2 year pandemic-delay with all the re-booking and travel insurance refunds she had to do... and for honouring the prices originally agreed. Her choices of hotels and tour companies were faultless and every pick up and transfer sorted. We are so glad we chose Canada Travel Specialist to organise our trip as they certainly ARE specialists! It has been truly amazing and so much more than we could ever have imagined!! We travelled from The Rockies with brown bears, elk and bald eagles to Vancouver on the Rocky Mountaineer and then on to Victoria for humpback whales, seals and sea otters. Those amazing mountains, lakes, waterfalls and glaciers took our breath away, with additions like a sunset cruise, rafts, canoes and seaplane! Was it worth waiting for? You bet!!!”

“Had a wonderful holiday put together by Anne MacAldowie at Barrhead / Canada Travel Specialists. We flew to Vancouver then after three nights picked up a car and drove over a number of days to Calgary - through the Rockies. Highlights were taking a whale watching trip from Vancouver and seeing a Black Bear beside the road on the Icefield Highway. Once you get to Vancouver and the first couple of bookings have worked seamlessly, you have confidence that everything else is going to work and you start to relax and really enjoy everything. Thanks to Anne for all her hard work”

“Back from our holiday of a lifetime, cruising to Alaska from Vancouver, the Rocky Mountaineer, Banff and the Calgary Stampede. We had planned to do this trip in 2021 but when Covid struck we decided not to even book until things settled down. Then early in 2021 we saw what we thought looked like a good deal with the Canada Travel Specialists and decided to take the plunge and book for 2022. So pleased that we did as it all worked out brilliantly even though we still had to test before the cruise. Adla organised it so well for us, she was very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient both on the phone and email. Her suggestions were definitely worth listening to and taking on board, whilst she was also happy to listen to us and act on our preferences. Her communications containing links to each company for every part of the holiday, made it all so easy to know what to expect and what to do, with regard to check-ins, luggage, where to be and when etc. We would definitely recommend Canada Travel Specialists / Barrhead Travel.”
