“I wrote a review the other day which reads a bit confusing. To clarify I am at the moment on a fabulous holiday booked for me by Adla. A holiday that was a long while in the planning and exelenty put together. But this old man thought he could make it a little bit better. OH NO. So having done this only to find Adla had already included it and more. So now I am a lot of money out of pocket. So Adla to the rescue, the whole drama was sorted out quickly and efficiently which ended up with me having a red face but a much healthier bank balance.Thanks for everything I Will definitely leave it to the experts next time”

“Would highly recommend Barrhead Travel especially Adla as went over and above excellent customer service. We booked our holiday of a lifetime but unfortunately my wife had an accident and we had to change our dates, Adla managed to change our date to next year and kept us informed on the changes to our cruise and the rocky mountaineer and more or less a mirror infantry to previous booking, definately went the extra mile, a credit to the Company.”

“Canada travel specialists and, particularly, Alda Toal organised a brilliant holiday in Western Canada. Everything worked well, timings were great, flights, trains and coach trips were bang on time, comfy and had spectacular views. Hotels in Banff, Jasper and Vancouver were high quality and well located close to town centres. All the day trips were good fun and showed us spectacular scenery and wildlife. I recommend Canada Travel Specialists and look forward to using them again. One thing I would like to mention, but won’t put in the review, is that on the 3rd June we had a Maligne Lake tour and walk in the morning and a Wildlife Discovery tour in the evening. Apart from the morning walk they were almost identical with the same driver/tour guide, the same commentary and almost the same route. About 9 hours stuck in a mini bus was not much fun.”

“We booked our holiday through Anne Macaldowie, she did a wonderful job, our holiday was without any problem. Every thing we had discussed with Anne was delivered, we had a wonderful time on Rocky Mountaineer train and also on the Alaska Cruise.”

“Brian Walker was exceptional organising my holiday to Canada. Always available online and phone, a reassuring and helpful voice, he was prepared to go that extra mile . He arranged a wonderful holiday with little extras.....limo transfer, a Fairmont hotel , window seat on Rocky train. Well done Brian.”

“Michelle Holt made our trip fantastic and everything worked out seamlessly. From the hotels, to tours to transport etc.The whole itinerary was planned perfectly. Michelle Holt made our dream come true, going to Rocky Mountaineer she has a very pleasant voice and very friendly very efficient, and above all went an extra mile. A BIG THANKYOU.”

“Scott McMillan arranged a customised visit to Canada for me and my sister, which was excellent. Scott's knowledge of Canadian holidays/travel is extensive and he helped to get our package right. His customer service is first class and he resolved quickly any queries we had in a professional and friendly manner (ie: missing reference with Canadian service provider). It was a fabulous holiday and every aspect worked like clockwork – from our hotel in Vancouver, the Rocky Mountaineer, stay in Banff & visit to Lake Louise to our stay in Toronto and visit to Niagara Falls.”

“From start to finish Scott McMillan was a fantastic adviser in helping us plan our trip to Canada to visit our son and girlfriend who had recently moved to Toronto. Having never travelled to Canada before, we were a bit daunted by booking ourselves. Over multiple emails and queries from me, Scott came up with a great itinerary for our trip. We were travelling as a couple and my Mum who is 75 so we had some quite specific requirements. Scott went out of his way to ensure we got everything we needed and the communication from him was exceptional. The whole trip went totally to plan - air and rail travel, hotels and excursion. Everything was spot on and I would not hesitate about booking via Scott in the future.”

“I booked a trip to Las Vegas and Canada incl a trip on the Rocky Mountaineer as a surprise 60th birthday present for my husband. It was wonderful. Our Barrhead travel rep was Sophie King. We cannot thank her enough. She was absolutely amazing to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. She even helped with issues we had getting Covid passports for Vegas. We cannot thank her enough for her help and patience. Would highly recommend both the trip, Barrhead Travel and especially Sophie, her customer service is second to none.”

“So far so good. Craig was brilliant at helping me plan my trip to Canada and the Alaskan Cruise. He gave helpful advice to make the trip as good as could be. Nothing was too much trouble.
