“The cut of the ash was great as was the burn, the heat logs were also impressive. However when I asked for delivery I requested the small van so it could reverse up the drive to drop off. The full sized lorry that came parked on the main road and the pallet made it about 2 metres up before it was stuck on the gravel. So we could park our car, I spent 3 hours moving items off the pallet so I could eventually drag it out of the way. So thinking the heat logs were in sealed packaging I prioritised moving the ash logs into the shed and put the heat logs under a tarpaulin …. which blew off in the heavy winds and were then rained on. I lost about 2/3 of the heat logs. Love the product and service but will do smaller/more regular deliveries from now on as I can’t afford to waste money like that. Kind regards James”

“I have been buying logs from Calido now for three years, after our previous supplier who had taken over the business started charging £80 for delivery. An internet search for log suppliers in Scotland produced Calido and the rest is history. A great quick service, a good quality wood at a fair price,with very little chopping and an easy stacking of the sacks in the shed.As long as Calido keeps going with the service/costs etc. they have a long term customer. The delivery company is also first class and I have now had a regular friendly driver for several loads.Thank you.”

“Great item at half the cost of the unbroken items. Realistically, much easier to lay a fire with these anyway. Telephone staff friendly and helpful. Second to none. Courier, Pallet line, went out of their way to deliver to my rural location in a Luton van and at a weekend. Faultless!”

“Haven't used the logs yet but I am sure they will be superb as usual. The delivery was on time as advised and all brought up to the garage. Just wanted to say a big thank you to the delivery driver who was so fantastic and moved all the bags into my garage and storage area. You have no idea how much this helped me as a 75 year old pensioner it would have been very difficult for me to lift the string bags as they are heavy. Thanks for a fantastic service as always. Best wishes for a lovely festive break - if you get one!”

“Excellent dry logs, which burn brilliantly. Good, frienly, efficient delivery, with the logs stored exactly where I required to be stored in the garage. I had purchased my Log Burning Stove from Calido in 2023 and it gets used regulary and daily during the winter. I regularly purchse logs from Calido, and will continue to do so.”
