We were charged twice for delivery, although I made two orders, they both came on same delivery and when I rung about this, I was told that we could not have a refund on one of the deliveries as the orders were made at different times (they were only made 4 days apart as I realised I had not ordered enough on original order). Surely as the orders, for which we had to wait rather a long time for! were despatched at the same time and came on the same wagon we are entitled to a refund. W have also used your Company before on various occassions, but are very disappointed that we cannot have a refund.

Dear Robert Thank you for the reply, I have looked into these orders you mention here. It is a fact that our system is that every separate order has a delivery fee and this was clearly displayed online when you placed the second order. This went through the entire system with order confirmations on email and post. These orders would have gone through the warehousing system independently all with their own paperwork but did coincide onto the same delivery vehicle. To ensure that all the items are on one delivery and all on one paperwork which would then entitle 1 delivery charge, all the items need to be placed on order together. In you case this would mean the requesting of the origional order to be canceled prior to despatch, a request to warehouse would then be put for the notes to be pulled and brought back to the office (after anything that had already been picked was unpicked and put away again), Once the paperwork is back in the office the order would be canceled and either left as a credit on the system(to be used) or refunded back to the method of payment. At which point an order consisting of ALL of the materials you want could be placed and would then only incur 1 delivery charge. Yours C & A

Very bad service, bought some guttering, qualified for £15 discount, started to load up and I noticed some of the fittings were wrong. Went back inside for exchange and they said I lost my £15 discount, even though it was there fault. I was very disappointed. I will complain to head office and try and get my money back.Bad experience.

Dear Sir We have looked into this case and it appears that this stems from an change of downpipe from square (which is the standard with Ogee guttering) to round downpipe. The procedures the member of staff followed were for an item return. In your case you had not left the property and the member of staff should have canceled the entire order (to include all products) and put it on again from the beginning, this would have prevented you from losing £4.60 of your £15 discount (you still received £10.40 of it). The member of staff has been identified and they will be subjected to retraining for this type of circumstance. My order arrived in very good time. I thought the box did not need to be the size it was (Too big). I have tried the Solvent Cleaner and it does clean well but it drys out far to fast so you have to keep using more cleaner solution at least 3 or 4 times to get rid of the streaks. This product needs to have a longer drying time then it would work much better and use less to clean the area. I have not had a chance to use the Polycarbonate cleaner yet, so it will be interesting to so if this lives up to what it supposed to do! Both of the above bottles had a lot of sellotape around the bottle cap and top of the bottle which if I removed all the tape would also remove the bottle label and other information. The tape did not stop some of the solution in both bottles from leaking slightly (so this defeats the reason for putting the tape on in the first place). Because both bottles had leaked the tape was now very sticky because the solution had slightly dissolved the adhesive which mad it messy taking the tape off. The third item I purchased was a roll of Glass Wipes for £4.95 which I thought would have been a better quality which is why I purchased it from C&A. I could have got the same or better from lots of other Shops/DIY for less money (even The Pound Shop). So all in all not over happy with my first order and last.

Sorry you are not happy with the products and hopefully I can answer some of the points you have raised. 1) Solvent cleaner is by its very nature a solvent based product and is designed to dry out and then wiped clean when dry. This is how the product is used and is extremely popular in the trade and we have only ever had good comments 2)The tape around the lids is to prevent them from coming loose in transit, I will ask the warehouse to ensure they avoid sticking it to the labels. 3) The glass wipe is a lint free tissue it is not the same as kitchen roll and also a lot longer than what you would find in a £ store. It is designed to clean plastic and glass without leaving marks and streaks. All these products are professional products and can not be compared to those available in high street stores. We always ask customer to call if they experience problems with any of our products and we could have explained how to use these correctly.

After ordering plastic sheets on the 22nd December and being promised delivery on the 4th January the closure of the building and a programme of work was put in place, unfortunately delivery did not happen until Friday, 15th pm. This caused considerable disruption. We appreciate that we had the Christmas period in between, but if we had known that delivery was not available until last week we could have planned accordingly. We have dealt with you on several occasions and never been let down before.

The mix-up over the costings for the order - on your side was not appreciated especially since we'd given you exact dimensions and numbers. The cost of the order rose so steeply and really doesn't seem worth it in the end - especially given all the extra admin involved in having to cancel and re-do purchase orders. Also, you sent far too many emails with the quotes on - don't know if they were system generated but one email with the quote attached as a pdf would've been enough - it made things really confusing, especially with the order mixup.

I ordered 2x4mm Polycarbonate Sheets and 1roll of breather(vent) tape on 24/9. The sheets were delivered yesterday 28/9, but without the tape. I spoke with "Matt" yesterday afternoon at C&As Gillingham depot and he told me that he would make enquiries and ring me back. He never did and I had to ring him back this morning to remind him. He will now send out the tape by 1st class post today! Why wasn't the order completed correctly? And poor after sales experience, will make think twice before ordering again.

I purchased an interlocking door canopy. The size is excellent being 1200mm x 900mm however the instructions are tedious to decipher being completely pictorial. It is not easy to erect and requires two people. There are no part kits available for interconnection so it is a case of purchasing full kits and throwing away the parts which can't be used. Not very good value for money despite the catalogue impression to the contrary.

The delivery day and time was obscure, fortunately there was someone in. The sheets were not well pact hence they arrived damaged also were not cut square hence a lot of unnecessary work had to be done in order to use them. fortunately for you I was able to cut out damaged corners sides were also showing signs of delivery damage. I am sure this was not al your fault but rough handling was the fault of the poor handling but sheets not cut square was your responsibility I will use you again but will advise you of the need to be more careful when delivering

Thank you for your feedback, i have looked into your order and the product you purchased. The 4mm polycarbonate sheet is a general purpose multi-wall product and by its very nature is lightweight and soft product. I have reviewed the order with the packers and they assure me they packed this items the same way as they would normally so we do not understand how the damage occurred. Your comments about the material not being square. All the sheets are cut to within a few mm we can not be more accurate due to the nature of the product and its expansion rate. The sizes of these sheets will vary greatly between summer and winter and the daily temperature will effect the size between us cutting it an you receiving it. between 10deg & 30deg will give a size change and this is always more noticeable on the length. As for being out of square the low cost sheets tend to move a small amount due to the stress relief when cut however the machine is regularly checked and serviced to ensure it cuts square, this still happens with the high end sheets but not so much. I did also notice that you have not contacted us once about problems with your order and given us the chance to resolve the issue. Thanks Darren

Hi Thank you for your review and we have looked into your order. you ordered a pack of greenhouse replacements sheets on the 16/07/2015 and they were despatched the same day on carrier. These arrived and were signed for on the 17/06/2015 which is the day after you ordered with them and so believe the accusation of speed to be unjust. Also the postage and packaging cost of £14.95 + VAT (£17.94) being more expensive than being able to deliver such an item to Australia is clearly false, and you were totally aware of the cost at the time of placing the order. Clearly something has upset you to leave 2 stars, but we find the reasons given as inaccurate. Feedback is welcomed for improvement so what ever it is that did upset you we would like to know. We request that you update your feedback considering this

Ordering is easy but trying to get information of when a delivery will be is non existent are you supposed to wait in for the up to ten days that is stated when you order am looking round for other company's that can offer a better service

Hi, thank you for your review and i am sorry you are not happy with our delivery service. I noticed that your order actually took 6 days to deliver and not the 10 you mention. You are correct that our terms state "UP TO 10 days" it also is dependent on the area that you live and the viability however 99% of our deliveries are delivered in less than 10 days. We also do offer an express service if you are concerned about delivery time scales and you call always call us. I would like to mention that we always email when your order is ready to dispatch, we also send a text message informing you and the day before delivery you are called and given a more accurate timescale. If you require an urgent delivery (this is also mentioned in the terms) then we do have this option however the value of your order was £55 and an express delivery would have cost as nearly as much as the goods value. Hopefully you will consider using us again in the future but please do call if you would like more information on a delivery

Customer No: W07058310. I purchased polycarbonate roofing sheets to replace my conservatory roof complete with roofing bars. Soon after delivery I found that 2 of the largest sheets were damaged, which was hardly surprising having seen that most of the sheets carried on the delivery vehicle were loosely stacked on the racking. I Immediately made contact with Jamie in Customer Services and made him aware of my concerns, saying that I may be able to use at least 1 of the damaged sheets, but would be in touch again later. Making contact again with Jamie, it was made clear to me that no replacement(s) would be made, so asked for a quantity of bar fixing screws as some compensation. After consulting his manager, screws were sent in the post. However, none were of the recommended size nor type (Stainless Steel CH 2"xNo.8, SR2 and 1"xNo.8, SR15); those delivered were Stainless No.8x38mm and No.8x50mm Zinc plated, neither of which will I use. I have had to purchase the correct screws via e-bay. Service via Jamie was adequate but from C&A generally unsatisfactory.

Purchased a multi-wall polycarbonate "roof light" for £115 (incl p&p). Basically half a sheet of polycarbonate (plastic) with a bunch of end caps. Worth £30, as this is what I would pay at my local plastics supplier, and an instruction manual on how to build your own frame and upstand. An absolute mis-selling based on the pictures and info provided. Would not recommend, and would return, apart from now past build deadline, and we are using it as a baseline of how costly it can be to trust online sellers out to make a fast buck!!! One day, I will laugh about this.

Dear Passion fruit Gardens I am sorry that you are disappointed with the product you purchased, and try to ensure that it is very clear at all times. I see that you purchased from the website where we have a video showing the construction and a full set of the PDF instructions detailing it all also. I also see that this was also only ordered Wednesday and your review was written Saturday, If you wish this is eligible for a return and full refund however you comment on it being past the build deadline which seems very odd. We do have a range of alternate roof lights for flat roofs including the ILLUMI-THERM Convex, reflex Clear double and triple skin, however these are substantially higher cost and slightly longer lead time than the dome you purchased and may have been a key parts of your decision making process initially. After delivery had been received by my wife today, I came home from work to check the products I had received and found the wrong eaves fillers had been sent with my order. this should have been obvious as I had box profile sheets and the invoice stated the correct item, but the wrong item had been sent. I phoned at 4.00pm the same day. you would think it would be urgent to rectify such a basic mistake on a low value product, but no, I now have to wait four days for the collection of the incorrect product, and supply of what I hope will be the correct item, but I won't know until I receive them, I am extremly dissapointed with this as it has delayed my project.

Thank you for your review. I have looked at the issue you raised and think there has been a bit of confusion. The correct eaves filler is being dispatched today, 4pm yesterday had missed our carrier and postal collections so today is the earliest we could send a replacement. As you mentioned it is a low value item and we would not seek to collect the incorrect item as the cost of doing so is more than the value of the item. The 4 days mentioned is the time you will receive the item. Today is Friday and the replacement will be delivered Monday this would be 4 days. With regards the error in the first place i have personally been and spoken to the member of staff that picked your order to understand how and why they managed to pick the incorrect eaves filler, as you mentioned the profile is different however this is not clear when looking at the item as these all look the same when packed. I have also raised the question about identification and locations of these products to see if we can identify additional changes to hopefully prevent this issue from happening again Sorry for the problems this may have caused
