“Having C&A before I was happy to order again and received help as I needed Polycarbonate sheet cut to size. The order included a free pair of builders' gloves and the delivery man was great. Unpacking the parcel was a bit of a bind as the tape was stuck to the gloves so had to be removed with care. The secondary glazing strip arrived without any instructions but a call to your office directed me to a video, part of the web site of your supplier. Suggest including a note regarding measuring the strip and the web site.”

“Prompt delivery, well packaged. Because rafter wider than eaves retainer top of retainer is too deep (needs to be 12mm), will have to rebate eaves retainer to suit”

“Purchased fascias and soffit boards for an extension project. Good price and quick delivery, my only gripe would be that delivery times and days were completely unknown. When I ordered and couldn't tell me when I would get the delivery. All other materials suppliers can give at least a date for the delivery to help plan the site work more easily Other than that no other problems.”

“The product are 1st class, your delivery drivers are some of the best,but the phone contact needs improvement, as the stock answer of 5 to 10 days is not very helpful to a very busy builder.I have order up front but if there is a product defect when unpacked I am told it is to late to do any thing about it. Craig will try to help but he is just one person.Also I have over 15 catalog with my last job such a waste, email my invoices and it will save me time,and you money. I have used you for some 15 years.Regards Joseph T Biddle”

“The polycarbonate sheeting I bought was good quality at a reasonable price. I ordered 7 sheets in all 5 of them being 2.1 metres wide to limit the number of glazing bars, this meant the sheets are difficult to erect due to the unwieldy size but my choice. There was some minor damage to a couple of the sheets, but not warranting a return. Two of the sheets 3.5 x 1.0 metre are quite bowed but again hopefully will flatten out when installed. My main comments are regarding the fixing instructions being very basic and could do with more guidance. Additionally as the sheets require fixing with button screws requiring a hole through the sheets with 3mm clearance it would be useful to provide a good holesaw of the correct diameter, in my case 14mm was required but not sold by C A. I also have found working on the big sheets it is difficult to work on the sheet as a thick board is needed to spread my weight to drill the inner fixings.”
