“Check you receive what you ordered and paid for straight away! Stupidly, due to personal circumstances, we didn't. When we came to complete the job, we peeled back the green protective plastic to discover we had about £200 worth of boring white cladding. We paid £550 + for fortex, wood effect plastic. Silly us - too late to change it. We've had to spend another £300 on more, and are stuck with cladding we can't use or need. Would i order from them again... no chance!”

Hi I am very sorry that you are not happy with the service that you received, as we mentioned when you raised the issue we do have a time scale for reporting short falls, defects or even just unhappy with the colour of goods in which we would be more than happy to sort ANY problems out. This time scale we believe is extremely fair, however the order you are referring to was dispatched and received on site 22/4/14 which is more than 12 months old. We understood that there may have been an issue however 13 months to report it left us with very little ability to help, to this end we arranged a new order with you after discussions we came to a reduction in the cost of the items as a way of trying to help. Due to the very age of the goods and the way they may have been stored it we would not have been able to offer a return. As a customer focused business we wish to provide our customers with the best quality of materials this is something we could not have guaranteed had we accepted these items back to stock. I am really sorry this was not to your satisfaction and would welcome any further discussion on how you would have liked us to have dealt with this? Look forward to your reply yours Craig

“Very happy with delivery and very friendly delivery driver. only disappointment is with the quality of the 2-3mm Multi trim. in the past this item was nice and stiff giving rigidity to joint this last batch very soft and easy to bend and will not hold its shape.”

“I purchased polycarbonate sheets for the car port. I was given lots of helpful advice To enable me to order what I wanted. My only complaint was that I was not given any notice of delivery until the driver knocked on my Door with the goods. Not a problem because I was there and delighted to get my order but I could have been out as I had no warning or call to say it was coming on that day. Happy with everything else. Thank you”

“Customer No: W07058310. I purchased polycarbonate roofing sheets to replace my conservatory roof complete with roofing bars. Soon after delivery I found that 2 of the largest sheets were damaged, which was hardly surprising having seen that most of the sheets carried on the delivery vehicle were loosely stacked on the racking. I Immediately made contact with Jamie in Customer Services and made him aware of my concerns, saying that I may be able to use at least 1 of the damaged sheets, but would be in touch again later. Making contact again with Jamie, it was made clear to me that no replacement(s) would be made, so asked for a quantity of bar fixing screws as some compensation. After consulting his manager, screws were sent in the post. However, none were of the recommended size nor type (Stainless Steel CH 2"xNo.8, SR2 and 1"xNo.8, SR15); those delivered were Stainless No.8x38mm and No.8x50mm Zinc plated, neither of which will I use. I have had to purchase the correct screws via e-bay. Service via Jamie was adequate but from C&A generally unsatisfactory.”

“A VERY EFFICIENT FIRM,NO MISTAKES,GOOD PRICES,FAIRLY QUICK DELIVERY. I HAD ORDERED GUTTERING/DOWNPIPE AND NUMEROUS FITTINGS.I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS FIRM TO OTHERS.THIS WAS MY FIRST PURCHASE FROM THIS FIRM,AND AS LONG AS THEY KEEP UP THEIR QUALITY OF GOODS AND SERVICE I WILL BE USING THEM AGAIN. “Great company, this is the third time I've purchased from c and a and have recommended them already. Only downside is the shipping cost for large items as my latest order 30% order value was the shipping but the order still worked out 50% cheaper than purchasing from the builders merchant a minute walk away. c and a are a top company”

“i ordered a door canopy which was sent out promptly and arrived very quickly to my Manchester address. It's a basic canopy and i got a handyman to install it, it did need sealant though which perhaps wasn't explained clearly on the website when i ordered it. i think it appeared under additional useful products. Otherwise it looks fine, so am pleased with the product. Importantly my query to the company about delivery times was answered by a friendly, helpful person - good customer service.”
