“very late delivery. ordered on the 9/4/15 advised on a 5/10 days lead in time. Today 29/4/15, still no delivery!!!!!!!!!!!!!, I rung them twice over the last week checking on the delivery and was adviced that the transport manager Craig Rock would returm my call. still waiting for goods and a call back from him. great customer service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Thank you for your response and i am sorry about your experience. I have discussed this problem with Craig and the Transport manager Pete and it seems there's a bit of confusion and break down in communication. You order was out for delivery within the 10 days but due to logistical problems there was a small delay and we attempted to make your delivery on the 25-04-15 however this was a Saturday and your business was not able to accept it this would have been 12 days and outside of our normal delivery time scales. Unfortunately the next lorry that left to cover your area was on the Monday morning 27th however your order had not been received back at the depot in time to be loaded onto this vehicle. I have spoken to Craig and he tells me he had tried to call and left a message to update you and also that the order was being repackaged for shipping by carrier and this left the depot in the afternoon on the Tuesday 28-04-15. We are sorry that your order was not delivered within our normal times scales of up to 10 days and i intend to investigate further to find the exact cause that resulted in the delivery driver running behind. Your order should be delivered today and i can confirm that DXfreight have the tracking as out for delivery today. We have also updated your delivery address as this was missing the unit number from your original order and this may result in the carrier not being able to make the delivery. If you order does not arrive please do contact us. Once again sorry for the problems Darren

“i ordered a new roof for my porch glazing bars polycarbonate sheets guttering facia boards and bits an bobs i told c an a i never done this before they guided me through what i needed and order was delivered within a week i cannot say enough about this company they are awesome the order was only 230 pounds and i fitted my self and it saved me over 1800 pounds by going through c and a plastics rather than having a company into do the work c and a plastics will be widly recomended by me”

Dear Paul Thank you for your feedback, looking at your order I see that you have ordered the PVC corrugated, these we deliver on our won vehicle to help ensure they arrive in one piece. Carriers are not the most gentle with these types of products and a little longer delivery time ensures a better end result in the long term. I hope this helps to enlighten why items like this take a little longer to deliver than tubes of silicone. Yours C & A Building Plastics

“I purchased Sofits and nails online, got a telephone call to say I had ordered the wrong nails and asked if I wanted to change order for the right ones, I thought that was excellent customer service, cannot speak more highly of the company. “Purchased a multi-wall polycarbonate "roof light" for £115 (incl p&p). Basically half a sheet of polycarbonate (plastic) with a bunch of end caps. Worth £30, as this is what I would pay at my local plastics supplier, and an instruction manual on how to build your own frame and upstand. An absolute mis-selling based on the pictures and info provided. Would not recommend, and would return, apart from now past build deadline, and we are using it as a baseline of how costly it can be to trust online sellers out to make a fast buck!!! One day, I will laugh about this.”

Dear Passion fruit Gardens I am sorry that you are disappointed with the product you purchased, and try to ensure that it is very clear at all times. I see that you purchased from the website where we have a video showing the construction and a full set of the PDF instructions detailing it all also. I also see that this was also only ordered Wednesday and your review was written Saturday, If you wish this is eligible for a return and full refund however you comment on it being past the build deadline which seems very odd. We do have a range of alternate roof lights for flat roofs including the ILLUMI-THERM Convex, reflex Clear double and triple skin, however these are substantially higher cost and slightly longer lead time than the dome you purchased and may have been a key parts of your decision making process initially. “Dealt with Tom the sales manager. Very disappointed with the non-availability of the 300 mm colonial Blue and also its poor colour in the brochure to actual. if Tom had not suggested Feather edge instead it is likely I would have gone elsewhere. I hope he has calculated the suggested amendment correctly as the 'non-returns' policy seems to fly in the face of customers expectations these days and the penalties in monetary/% charge harsh.”
