“good service all round, but quality of pvc box corrogation panels were just not up to the job i had hoped, very flimsy, shattered easily and the small corrogations made it almost impossible to hold its shape, my mistake i guess, got to bodge it now to make it work and look anything, lifes a "beach"”

“i ordered the materials i needed on the 3rd May, the website and the order sais it would be delivered within 5 days. After several phone calls it was eventually delivered on 13th May. Despite being told it would be delivered the week before.”

Thank you for you feedback, we are sorry that your order got delayed and we will be looking into why it got held up. Initial investigation has shown no reason for the delay and we would like to apologises for any inconvenience caused. We do pride ourselves on sticking to our delivery targets but it seems we failed on this occasion.

We have looked into this. The items you are talking about appear to be the ordering of sheet enclosures to be delivered after the original order had been dispatched, and therefore requiring its own delivery charge for them to be delivered (as it is a separate order).

“Bought 4no Box Profile solid colour PVC corrugated roof sheets to replace similar which I have had for several years. Two number Soft Sheen red were okay with the same colour top and underside however the other two no were Soft Sheen green which were not matching underside, the colour underneath being virtually black but no mention of this in the brochure hence only giving 3 stars. These being used for a lean -to shelter resting on a wooden frame.”

“Cement profile corrogated clear PVC sheets and fixings. The only supplier I could find stocking clear sheets to match the fibre cement on my garage roof. Very efficient transaction, with the exception of communication regarding the delivery. Despite an assurance specifically requested, that I would be notified of the delivery day and time, I only received a call from the driver less than an hour before the delivery. Review would otherwise be 5 stars.”

“I bought the 1mm polycarbonate corrugated sheeting, it’s very thin and wasn’t sure if it UPVC, how do you tell ? Company very helpful and delivery was spot on.”

Thank you for the review Yes 1mm is thin, however Polycarbonate is very strong an durable with high impact strength due to its flexibility. Yes telling the difference between Polycarbonate and PVC can be hard to the untrained eye. There are different methods, but to help this is why we do the PVC in 3" Cement profile and Polycarb in 3" iron (different dimensions on the wave). with experience you can tell the difference by handling lots of them due to the mechanical differences in the sheet, but this is only something gained with experience. We hope this helps somewhat

“CA material are very good quality sometime in store service staff could be a bit moody but my biggest issued is the staff cannot help you with a heavy load to the vehicle.”

This is a very odd comment given the order was for 5 gutter support brackets. It is however true that that it is the customers responsibility to bring a suitable vehicle and for the loading and securing of that vehicle.

“I needed a new 700mm x 1200mm canopy sheet as my current one had developed holes, was told I had to buy whole unit incl. brackets & bolts. I stay on an island in Scotland and told carriage cost was ridiculously expensive. Decided to have canopy sent to relative on mainland, carriage cost still over £12.00. Told it would be delivered Thursday, relative stayed in all day - not delivered. Now Sat. evening, item still not received. Review would have been 5 star, but let down by TNT Carriers and carriage costs.”

“Cannot fault the speed my order was dealt with and also the ability to track the order, bearing in mind I ordered 10 sheets of polycarbonate the packaging appeared to be more than sufficient to protect the sheets but the back of the box had a 2 inch penetration through the packaging which damaged the first sheet slightly, can only assume it was the delivery companies fault when loading their van, if I ever have another option to use TNT will decline to order anything.”

Dear Mr Bailey We are sorry your feel the service was not a 5 star experience, having looked at the order we confirmed it on Monday the 5th and it went on the next available vehicle to that area which was the following Monday 12th. The vehicles are on the road all week from the Monday to the Friday to make the deliveries to the customers and so could not have gone out any faster than this (you order was confirmed after the vehicles where loaded and left for that week). We use our own vehicles for these very large materials to prevent damage that can happen with general carriers, and you can see this by the reviews left on competitors sites with regards to the damages they receive. The drivers do call the day before the delivery to let you know when they anticipate to be with you the following day, but we can not predict all the traffic and accidents that have not happened yet in advance. Transportation and logistics is often the biggest issue in any transaction, and we provide a comprehensive service on this at minimal cost, although if these are the biggest issues you have we do run trade counters so that you can purchase on the counter and collect with your own vehicles, although you may find this not cost effective given the 500 mile round trip in your case. “I ordered some Corrugated Roofing Sheet on 19/10/2018 (RG108CL 8 ft and RG1010CL 10 ft). Ten days later on 29/10/18 I received the following email "Your order has been dispatched and you can expect delivery within the next 5 working days". "We will call you to advise an expected delivery date and time". This latter call was NEVER received, it was just good fortune that my wife was in the kitchen when it arrived! Despite this annoyance (which could have been costly ), the driver was most courteous and helpful.”

Dear Sir Thank you for the review. This delivery charge is actually below the cost of running the service for delivering the roof that you purchased and is therefore actually extremely good value to the customer. If you like you are able to by all the materials in store to take away, and then you would not incur any delivery charges, but you will have to arrange your own suitable van / lorry, pay for its rental, insurance costs, fuel, although as you would be driving it yourself you would save on the staffing costs. We are also so confident in our pricing that we offer our Online Price Promise where we will not only match a valid competitors price, but actually then give you another £10 on top and this includes the delivery charge (full details are here : https://www.cabp.co.uk/Price-Promise.htm ). We are sorry you are disappointed, but we can not help it in cases where your expectations are that you should pay more in total for your order but have the break down altered so that it does not show as a delivery charge but rather included in the price of the products initially. “Bought a variety of pipework for my project. Was very dissapointed that it wasnt made clear before I checked out that it would take a week to be delivered. Lost a lot of time on my job due to the wait. Will make sure to order well in advance next time. Otherwise good quality materials & resonably priced.”

Thank you for the review, we are sorry that you missed the delivery information sections on the website which is the first link in the footer menu (so appears on every page). This page is also reproduced on every individual product page as one of the accordion menu's. Amazon has a lot to thank for peoples new expectations, but it seems even they can not uphold these and even the Advertising Standards Agency has upheld complaints to stop certain adverts with regards to their delivery services.
