“I'm building an art studio in my back garden, by myself and from scratch. It's a nerve-wracking process and I'm learning so much as I go along. Modern UPVC Windows came good with the windows and door, allowing me to specify precise sizes for each item, allowing me to chop and change before the order went through, and providing great technical assistance as I figured out what was needed. Placing the order was simple, and delivery even simpler - I was kept informed of progress on the assembly, everything then arrived exactly as planned, and the delivery person helped to offload and carry everything around to the site. Technical assistance has carried on throughout the install, with quick and cheerful answers to my stream of questions. The windows are in place now and look great - I just need one last burst of courage to attempt the door... Cheers!”

“This is the third order placed through Modern UPVC windows. On our previous house we had a problem with a large picture window which was replaced at no cost to ourselves...I have found all the staff from customer service to delivery drivers to be extremely helpful and knowledgable. Looking forward to receiving our new windows for our self-build summerhouse.”

“i ordered all windows but forgot to order back door which i understand is my fault but doing building work and gotta think miles ahead .. but they wouldn't honour my 5% discount or up grade lock for back door ,which i have just ordered to match windows ,and only deliverd half windows without prior notice !very disappointing”

Good Morning Richard, Thank you for taking the time to leave your review, I am sorry to see that your experience with us hasn't been as smooth as we would hope. I have taken the time to look into this, and I am not sure of why we weren't able to give you prior notification of the 6 missing frames on your order. This is most unusual and any stock shortages are normally notified to the customer in advance so I can only offer my sincerest apologies. I am pleased to see that we delivered the missing items relatively quickly afterwards though. In relation to your second order (your forgotten door), our policy is that the additional 5% discount can only be applied to single orders over £5,000 (which you did receive on your November 2022 order), and as your door order was 5 months after this, we would not be able to extend the discount. However, in light of the communication error from last year, I would be happy to refund 5% back to you for your composite door on this occasion as a gesture of goodwill.
