“I am grateful to BUNAC for sponsoring my visa for my time in London this past summer through Beyond Academy. While I am happy they agreed to sponsor me, there were a few hiccups mentioned that could be improved. One thing is that when I arrived in the UK, they sent me an email about an arrival form. The problem was I could not find it on my profile portal. I feel that the portal should have some improvements so that people can better understand and navigate it in the future. Lastly, for the required document, "Letter of Recommendation," my professor, who wrote it, would like to note that there should be some form of contact to send it to instead of uploading it to the portal. Overall, this was a great service, and I am forever grateful to them for sponsoring my visa.”

“After just having moved to London this week, I had the pleasure of working with Ben and Victoria while they helped me get settled. The first day walking tour was so much fun, as we got to see multiple landmarks and Ben was extremely informative about so many places and the history of London as well. We even checked out the Sky Garden, which was in my list of places I really wanted to go, and it didn’t disappoint. Over the next day, Ben helped us go through any questions and concerns about jobs, applications, CV’s as well as tips on what to look for when finding accommodation. All while being very thorough in presenting all this information. Ben went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable about the move and made sure we knew himself and BUNAC would be there to help along the whole way. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a company to help aid them in this life changing process. Their knowledgable and bubbly personalities helped me feel at ease and made me even more excited for this amazing experience!”

“Before applying for our NZ working holiday visa we had some questions and queries that we wanted to go through. We got in touch and were contacted by Roisin who was great. Roisin was friendly, informative and very helpful in helping us find answers to our questions. If Roisin didn't know the answers herself, she would find the information for us from other sources and supported us throughout.”

“I recently reached out to Bunac for assistance with my Canada Ski Season. I was soon put in touch with Ed Sayers and can't recommend him enough, he made me feel so at ease and answered all my questions brilliantly, he had done the exact same season I wanted to do, so found him super knowledgeable. “I spoke with Róisín for more information around summer camps in America. Róisín was so helpful and friendly and made me feel very at ease, she answered all of my questions even if I thought they were obvious and has made me feel really confident about starting my application! “Overall, if you could avoid using BUNAC, I would. I thought BUNAC was generally a fine platform, but the website was incredibly buggy and confusing. When uploading documents, what was actually required was incredibly unclear. I uploaded all documents that BUNAC requested on their “documents” tab, but still received emails telling me that I had missing information. The emails included few instructions for how to complete the task. Any instructions that were given would instruct me to view pages that I could not find or upload documents to places on the website that did not exist. If you tried replying to any emails, no response was given. The application status bar could have been helpful if it actually worked. After completing the application and uploaded required documents, my application would show that I had incomplete documents or tasks. When completing my required entry forms, again I found the website glitchy, saying that there were still things I needed to complete. Even after completing my internship, my portal on the website still says that I have only 87% of my application complete and that I have documents that I need to upload. This made it incredibly frustrating to know what I needed to do to continue. Because of all these issues, I had to reach out to support often. There was no information on the portal for how to contact support, I had to find these details in the emails from BUNAC. The support team was incredibly helpful, but it shouldn’t have taken this much. I independently organized an internship placement so I did not use BUNAC for that. I found the price for using BUNAC was incredibly steep, $800 for their services alone, not including paying for the actual visa. I had no choice but to use this service as it was what my organization used for visa applications. The only advantages of BUNAC were that they had internships you could apply for on their website if you needed to, that they (sort of) highlighted what documentation you would need for a visa, and that they had helpful support staff. I’m sure there is a lot that BUNAC does outside of what I see to ensure that I get my visa, but I can only speak from my experience. BUNAC is definitely an okay option for applying for a visa, but it comes with irritation and confusion. After many emails to support, everything turned out fine in the end. If you can, I would avoid using BUNAC for your visa application.”

“The procedure for obtaining my visa was quick, simple and structured. I was accompanied by BUNAC. Even during my assignment, BUNAC checked to make sure that everything was going well for me. They are very attentive. I'd like to thank Kira Watson specifically for her help and for listening to me!”
