Founded with mullets and a mission by students in the 60's, BUNAC has been running its legendary Summer Camp USA program since 1972. From coaching soccer to teaching crafts - it’s the chance to turn your passion into a paid job, impact the lives of children and young people, and spend the summer living in epic locations with the best 18-30s you’ve ever met. And because 5% of profits go to our Youth Access Scholarship Fund, you can travel happy knowing that BUNAC works for others too.

“I spoke to Ellie to discuss moving abroad with the working holiday visa. She was great and answered all the questions I had. If you are unsure of anything about your trip I highly recommend setting up a video call!”

“I have just moved to New York from NZ on the J1. There are lots of steps and documents to fill out - the service helps you stay on track the whole way from initial consult, to pre departure, to arrival in your new city of choice. The process was streamlined and made so much more clear with the help of the team at BUNAC, and especially Jessie who was always so enthusiatic and thorough when answering my queries. I gave 4 stars because the phone lines are always busy, so they're not as reliable during emergencies. However the team always checks their emails and replies very quickly. Overall would highly recommend them for anyone wishing to do the J1.”

“Before arriving in NZ BUNAC people help make sure you have have all that darn paperwork in order and during orientation week Sharon who is a godsend helps you in every way to makes your transition into NZ as flawless.”

“Bunac was such a fab way to follow my dreams of working at a summer camp! It was a fairly easy process with them. My only qualm was that I was applying outside of the UK so didn’t have access to any of the camp fairs so I was advised to accept the first offer I was given remotely. Luckily for me it worked well and I went back for three summers! Shoutout to Roisin who is a fab help”

“I was delighted with my recent trip to summer camp in America. I absolutely adore camp - it is quite literally my home away from home. It was my second time going, but my first time traveling with Bunac. Everything worked out well, I did however feel like I was left to myself quite a lot during the planning period. Because I wasn't traveling from the UK, I had a hard time getting answers to questions I had about visa appointments and Covid rules and had to figure a lot of it out myself. I was also receiving emails stating that embassy appointments were sold out when this was not true for my country. I would highly suggest making 2 separate emailing lists, so those of us outside of the UK don't get links to the embassy in London, or links on how to book a covid test that we essentially can't use. But other than that, I was really happy traveling through Bunac, and I would do it again!”

“I really liked the teams call from Bunac staff to explain what to expect from the camp experience - they gave lots of helpful advice like how to get your SIM card sorted etc and this made the initial few days I’m America much easier. Overall they were very friendly and helpful with all the forms and applications and I would definitely book with them again!”

“My adventure with Bunac began at the end of May 2022. My company was not familiar with the post-Brexit sponsorship procedures and the timeframe was far too long for my internship which was due to start at the end of August. They then contacted Bunac and from there it was super efficient! I got answers to my questions very quickly, there was always a member of Bunac staff available to answer me. The platform is very simple to use, everything was very easy, I was able to put in all my documents, the company had a call with Bunac and I had just received my sponsorship certificate on 13 June 2022! What a relief! Today I am in London doing my internship, thank you Bunac.”
