“One of the items ordered was not in stock so nothing was posted. After contacting them they explained the delay and said if I cancelled the item they would post the rest immediately. I asked for an alternative product to be sent but advised I couldn’t “swap” items. Opted to cancel the one item and received the rest straight away. Comms could have been better by them contacting me and changing order would have been helpful as this made postage costs for the remaining items high. Not bad service, but could be better with a little more thought. I accept in the grand scheme of things this was a relatively small order. As a positive the prices are very competitive. I would use again but made sure items were in stock prior to ordering.”

“Package arrived damaged with 1 item missing. Flimsy packaging considering the weight of the items, so not surprised it did not survive the Royal Mail parcel delivery. However there was a prompt replacement for the missing item.”

“I only ordered a few tins of paint and they took over 2 weeks to be dispatched. I wouldn’t mind if using a free delivery service but having paid £6:95 for delivery I would have expected a 2-3 day delivery as suggested.”

“When I queried the slow delivery of my order, I was told a small part of it was not in stock. I would have expected more proactive communication from the sales department. Once this was sorted out, I received a refund and the the order was quickly delivered.”

“3 cartridges of mastic sent in a padded envelope, which, not surprisingly, had burst open. Thankfully, the Post Office put it all in a plastic bag and delivered it safely.”

“When it arrived it was fine. I did not get the tracking number in any Inbox including spam and the delivery was late. Don't know who's to blame but as I did not receive the tracking number I assume it was Building Supplies Direct.”

“I ordered 10 tubes of silicone and paid £ 5.95 for delivery (3 - 5 days) after 6 days I had not received the items so I emailed the company who informed me that they were still in processing status, on sending further emails I had confirmation that the items would be dispatched that day and would receive them the next day. When the items were delivered there were only 5 tubes in the package, so I emailed the company again and was told there had been damage to the parcel as according to the system I had been sent all 10, I was asked if I want a refund or receive the items, so the next day I received a further 5 tubes. All was sorted in the end but would have been better if I hadn't had to keep sending emails to check on dispatch and delivery etc.”
