“Rubbish. Parts out of stock. No communication to advise parts out of stock. Nobody to answer the phone when I chased delivery on 5 occasions. 4 emails ignored. I will not use Building Supplies Direct ever again.”

“Paid for an express delivery service, but still took longer than an average delivery from China! Got no refund and even less sympathy from a faceless emailer! Won't be using you again! One very disappointed ex-customer.”

“Order chop saw never arrived? Then over a week later received a credit note with no explanation?? But no refund?? Call no answer send several emails but no reply?? A few days later so one got back to basically telling me it was out of stock ?? DON’T USE THEM !!”

“The tool box was delivered on time and at a good price. The reason for only 1 star is that it was badly damaged, bottom draw could not be opened due to the bottom of the box pushed up and the lid was bent and twisted and could not be locked due to the catch bent back. I have not sent it back due to the tool box was needed for a new job stat, so I have had to repair it but still can not lock it.”

“I have tried you to contact me by telephone number and they haven’t. I have had an item sent to me that is not the right Item and no plug on it.the box is different to the item I bought.if Health and safety got involved they would not be happy because the plug is missing on a electric item and I have spent all that money with no plug on the item not happy I have decided I would like a full refund. Plus the package and postage hope this helps.”

“I ordered a compressor pump from them, it arrived damaged and never replied to my emails when i informed them of damage untill i got in touch with paypal they then asked me to send the two box's back and after inspection i would get my payment back.As it was delivered damaged i asked for postage refund to send them back which they aggreed.Paypal refunded my payment i never got my £12 postage back from Building supplies direct even after asking Worst company i have ever dealt with”

“Goods ordered were not available after being told they were to be despatched in due course. Next message was sending part order and offering partial credit note refund. Offer declined and full refund sought. Alternative supply found , in short a total waste of time”

“Ordered 2 x sets of hinges ( one lh and one rh ) They showed were showing as in stock. Once ordered we then noticed a refund which was for one set as there was a stock mistake. This then made the other set no good as I couldn’t do just one door. Trouble also with delivery as I have still not received the order that is no good (after 2 weeks) Will no use again”
