Very poor communication. When they eventually got back to us our product was no longer in stock so our order was cancelled. Wasted nearly 2 weeks of our time waiting for it.

I had a small order for some tape measures, i was just give a refund without any explanation or notification why I was not getting them or why i was refunded.

Ordered strimmer cassette on 1st September, had a wood carving chisel delivered on 9th September, emailed to question this so the cassette was reordered but not received by me until yesterday 18th September, I certainly do not feel that this was satisfactory service.

Ordered with no problem but then received an email from PayPal saying the order was cancelled and I had received a refund. No communication from building supplies direct. Ordered again as item was showing in stock online. Again email from PayPal saying order cancelled and refunded but no communication from building supplies direct. Have been online and the item is still showing in stock. Better communication please and update your stock levels would be very helpful!

I have had a delivery but DPD messed it up not Building Supplies, however Building Supplies are not answering the phone to get it sorted. I know covid is a problem. I shall re rate when I do get my screws.

They were advertising "2÷3day delivery!" And that was the main reason I bought from them. Now already 11 days .. and still item not delivered.. No one ever tried to contact me why delivery us delayed.. I need to beg every day asking where is my item and .. they say 'delivery should be today's but in the late evening You realise it's not Your lucky day

After ordering the laquer, I received no form of communication that the order had been received. 3 weeks later still no product so I called them no answer so I left a message, no call back . Now over 6 weeks later they are asking me to review their service! Took my money and I couldn't have received any less.

Building Supplies Direct uses DHL for their deliveries. Customers should be warned in advance that their delivery can end up broken, battered at a different address.

This unfortunately does happen with any of the carriers occasionally. It is how we dealt with it that you should be reviewing which as far as I can see was fine

ordered with express delivery which was most costly. however I received the item after the date it would be expected with standard delivery. was unable to carry out a job for a customer due to this so had to go and buy one from a shop

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee delivery times as there are factors that may delay an order, many out of our control

Disappointed. Ordered two boxes of nails and paid £5 postage. A 'stocking error' meant only one set of nails were in stock, making the only set I received more expensive than elsewhere. The out of stock item was also still listed as available for sale a week after. Do not trust stock level indicators.

Hi, sorry to hear of the issue you had. When we do find a stocking error we do try and address it as soon as possible in the best way we can. It appears that this was not treated correctly in your case for which I apologise
