“Excellent supply in stock of timber and great variety of sizes
Price can’t be beaten. staff are efficient and friendly I got to make some great structure around the home with this quality timber.”
“I ordered 6m marine plywood. The delivery address is less than a mile from yer shop.i was charged 50 euros for delivery. I felt i had been ripped off.i will never buy anything from ye again”
“Initial delivery was unacceptable - planks were of different size than ordered + several were damanged and looked like leftovers were given.
Support on the other hand worked well and replacement was arranged quickly”
“Extremely disappointed. I rarely write reviews, and I think I've never written a bad review before. In 10th June, I bought 4 kits of Teranna Railing Kits from them and they delivered only 3. At that time they informed I'd have it by the end of the week, which would be the June 13th. Well, they didn't deliver, they didn'd follow up with me until I reached them after few days. Another promise was made by Brooks saying that I'd receive the remaining kit by the 20th, which didn't happen once again. Many attemps were made to contact them to have an explanation and by that time I was extremely frustrated because of the lack of communication and the follow up by them. Turns out that I'm writting this review one month later and I still don't have any feedback from them and I have a deck on my back yard incomplete, with no follow-ups from them.”
“Excellent service my delivery came a day early everything I ordered was delivered and put to the side of house where I wanted it left will always use brooks from now on and would highly recommend them to friends.”
“I've only been once 4 2 lengths. Helpful staff who didn't rush when I needed to cut the lengths in half to fit in my car. Let me use the forks of the forklift as a bench. Will visit again when needing timber”
“Have made a few purchases online from Brooks Timber & building supplies, more recently some smaller items. Always receive a text when its ready for collection shortly after purchase and always carry a very wide range of items including hand tools and power tools. Prices are very reasonable too.”
“I have placed a number of orders with Brooks over the past few weeks and have made all the orders online. I would normally never write a review but the service and timing of delivery was exceptional. Would strongly recommend.”
“The Brooks website is poor as it allows you to order and purchase lumber that is not in stock. Thankfully the extremely hepful staff in the Galway depo rectified this issue promptly.”
“Good quality wood, delivered on time and with care and consideration. Very helpful and courteous delivery driver. Thoughtfully placed wood so as not to obstruct my wife who is a wheelchair user with limited mobility. I will be ordering from Brooks again”
