BreakerLink is a Free Car Parts Finder service formed in 2002 to assist public and trade customers to locate new and recycled car parts for any vehicle. BreakerLink is linked to 100s of independent part suppliers across the UK and Ireland.

Enter your request, compare quotes and then purchase from the independent supplier with delivery available to your door. Suppliers provide a majority of parts with a 1 month guarantee and some often longer.

Placed order on Monday 19th, 2-3 days estimated delivery. chased up by phone on Friday morning, promised that delivery would be that day, Now Sunday no seat belt. Poor service by any measure.

Had contacted the dealer and paid for a wing mirror, was told, they didn't have the colour I had contacted them about. Which was fair enough, so, picked another colour close to the one I wanted and spiders for it. Only to be called back 5mins later and told, they didn't have any wing mirrors, as the one I ordered was reserved for someone else and that my money was not taken from my card.

only one company got back to me and in the end they returned my money as they found the parts were corrieded

Both times you've given me dealers with availability it's turned out to be the wrong item

I have been trying to source a simple part for my car. I have received quotes for this part and in two cases have paid for it using Paypal. The first breaker accepted the order but then spent 2 months giving me reasons why the part was on the way. Last week I gave up on this provider and subsequently found out that he had been delisted from breakerpoint. The second supplier said he had the part but in the wrong colour. The third attempt said he had the part, I paid for it and was expecting it Monday. On Monday afternoon I got a notice that Paypal had received a refund from this supplier. I had to ring up and ask why. Oh, it was sold they said. Well it wasn't when I paid for it! So here I am looking for the same part for the 4th time. Not Good. At all.

Thank you for your comment. We are sorry to hear you have been experiencing problems with some of our members. As most of our suppliers deal in used items which are still attached to a vehicle in their compound, it tends to be that that item being offered is the only item available and can be found to be damaged on removal or the incorrect colour but, in some cases are still offered to the customer as items can be resprayed etc. We can see you have a current request placed on our service so we hope one of our suppliers will be able to help you on this occasion as stock changes on a daily basis. I was sent the wrong part, so when I phoned up about it I was told to send message to long life parts. still awaiting result.

not received the part yet. Guy on phone was uncommunicative, and did not offer any information about dispatch time table, also ignored a question I asked him. I want my part, it is now over a week since ordering.

Bolton north west Brakers missed my business up by delaying, sending damaged parts, parts they promised was missing and not excepted when I wanted to return them

I used Breakerlink to find a part for my car and have been unable to send them a message about my bad experience as they dont have an email address for complaints as such. After chosing a supplier who quoted me one price which I accepted and paid through my debit card late that evening, I then cancelled the order the very next day after choosing another cheaper quote and purchasing through them. I have been trying to get the original suppliers a JH Cars Ltd to put the money back into my account, but they are not responding. I have emailed them through your system twice and also emailed them direct twice asking them to contact me. I also contacted them by phone and spoke to the owner who said I had to get in touch with you or paypal to get my money back. My paypal account does not show any activity for the purchase even though it says on my bank account paypal and reference JH Cars Ltd. I definitely filled in my card details for the purchase when asked to do so. Im surprissed and dissapointed by Breakerlinks attitude regarding getting my money back and being pushed towards the supplier to respond which hasnt happened even though he has had several reminders. I beginning to think the man is a crook. He even told me there would be a 10% cancellation fee even though he hadnt even put the item together for collection and I cannot see any reference in your information or his.when ordering. Perhaps you can contact this supplier and press him into reimbursing me and I shall crtainly be very wary in using your services again or indeed encourage others to do so.

The item took too log to arrive, despite paying 'top dollar' for the postage, then, having returned the item, the refund also took too long to arrive

Well the seat you told me was for a Citroen c2 gt is wrong there black and orange seats not just black like I was being sent .am very annoyed as have had to re order a seat and now may end up having to fork out more money as ur mistake
