“Three or four big pluses for me - the software to design the book is easy to use. I like the choice of typeface etc. The quality of the printing is not absolutely 100% high quality...but it is 95% high quality. My book looks great as an artefact and I will be using it as something visitors to my future exhibitions can browse on. I did think the price was a little steep. And I hope Bob Books will make their prices a little more competitive. Final point - their server does not crash so that significant irritation is not present. Thoroughly enjoyed the process of making 'The Boyhood Project' .”

“We love Bob Books. The quality of the product is always of a high standard, and it helps us to create a permanent home for our most treasured pictures. We're no photographers and everything is done on smart phones these days, but somehow the result always looks quite professional once everything is in a Bob Book. The interface is simple enough to use, although not glitch free. For example, it isn't always simple, or indeed possible, to get photos to appear in frames. There are so many formatting options however, that there is always a work around and it certainly wouldn't put me off coming back to the site.”

“I have just received my Bob Books Photobook of our holiday in Scotland. It is fantastic to be able to design my own pages of either full-page images or composites of several photographs. The satin finish of my book has complemented my photographs and the open-flat format is ideal for panoramas. I emailed a query which was answered very promptly. Delivery and packing of my book was excellent. Thank you.”

“The quality of the book was amazing. It took me around half an hour to get to grips with the software but after that it was amazing. The wedding photographer was quoting £250+ for an album and I spent £60 and it looks professional, better than some of my friends. I have been able to quickly tweak albums for in-laws as well. If I could make one improvement, I’d love to see leather covers and perhaps embossed leather. Also presentation boxes in any colour other than black would be good - perhaps white or wood?”

“Great service and excellent quality. The books I have had done, the most recent of which was a picture book to go with my most recent novel, ‘Blame It On The Beatles ... And Bill Shankly’, have always been complimented upon by friends and family. The picture book about The Beatles and Liverpool FC is the first of my books I have put on the Bob Books website for sale, so I do not yet know how that aspect of their business will work out. But on my experience so far with Bob Books I can highly recommend them.”

“I have had over 15 books made now. The hardback lay flat lustre books produced on photographic paper are superb. Excellent colour depth and reproduction. Many of my books were of ancient black and white photos taken in the 1950s and the monochrome quality is better than I could achieve printing them myself.”

“I have recently received my latest Bob Book of a holiday we spent with our grandchildren and am delighted with the result. My wife and I produce Bob Books as souvenirs of our holidays together and with our children and grandchildren. So far we have produced twenty two books and are currently working on two more. The software is easy to download and use, there are plenty of book types and papers to choose from and the final printed versions have never disappointed. Rather than buying tacky souvenirs whilst on holiday, we take lots of photographs and the Bob Book is our souvenir which we often look back on to remember happy times.”

“I am a long standing and regular user of Bob Books and they are the company always use when creating my photo books - typically of holidays. I find the soft wear easy to use although I am now very familiar with it so that helps but on the odd occasion I do have a problem I can phone and talk to a real person who always helps me out. This is invaluable! I recommend Bob Books to all”
