“We love using Bob Books. Designing the books is so easy to do. Such easy software makes it a pleasure. The books tend to come a bit warped and need heavy books on them to flatten them out and some heat helps at this as well. This does not stop us from using them.”

“The software is generally very intuitive and where I became stuck, I had readily available chat or phone help. The uploading was fast and easy - I used the pro software on my computer locally. The client was very happy with their book. It was shipped to Spain at a very reasonable price and extremely well packed. This is super important as I have received damaged books from other companies in the past. There are areas for improvement. I could not find a double page with one photo option even though I ordered a lay flat book. There are not enough classy creative templates. The add text option is buggy and it compromised what I did. The colours did not match the colours in photoshop or lightroom so it was hard to know what to rely on - I trusted my computer in the end. The designer software made everything about 20% redder. Re ordering, I would like to see an option for different end papers and different types of presentation cases. I would like the option to add a detachable book cover as well as having the cover photo directly printed on the hard cover. Despite all these caveats I would highly recommend this company.”

“Extremely happy with the application to make photo books, as well as the quality of the photobooks. The only gripe I have is with the ongoing difficulties to get the books delivered to me in Japan, though the support team is doing a great job to help me out. Hope that the delivery problems will get finally sorted out.”

“I must have produced around 20 Bob Books over the last 5 years. Without exception, the quality of the finished item has been excellent. As well as many high quality images, I tend to have quite a lot of text in most books, usually cut and pasted from Microsoft Word documents. I find that the Bob Books software is not quite as versatile as a conventional word-processing package: for example, text wrap is not available (or if it is I haven't found it) and some of the font settings seem to need care to ensure consistency throughout the book. Overall though, very happy!”

“I thought Bob Books was very easy to understand and use. I found the layout suggestions helpful and I could click on different options then choose my favourite. I also liked the clipart and backgrounds, which provided good finishing touches to my pages.”

“I like the quality of the reproduction of my photos. The colours very closely match those of the originals. I like the variety of layouts and backgrounds so that each calendar is unique, and putting it together is very easy. I like the quick delivery and the price.”

“The quality of the photo books is very good and they are delivered very well packaged to ensure they are not damaged (better packaging than any other supplier of books of any description) . Bob Designer is also very good and almost any style or layout can be produced.”
