“I have been using BobBooks for some time now and have always found the service to be professional in the ordering process, quick to turn around the input into a book or calendar, and the finished article is produced on excellent quality paper with great colour reproduction. My only suggestion for improvement is rather than giving points to get money off, why on earth don't you reduce the price of an order by £10 automatically whenever the equivalent of 1000 points is reached. This would a) save me having to dig into my past e-mails to find the right code, and b) it will occasionally provide a great surprise when ordering to find that the price has automatically been reduced by £10.”

The IT systems involved in placing orders through the various methods and getting them into production are very complex, and our rewards program had to be designed to fit in with this. “Really pleased to find a system that allows Linux based, offline work. However the online version has improved immensely over the years too. I prefer the performance of the offline application and would recommend that for those who prefer better response. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. The fold flat pages are excellent for large images, or arrangements that cross the boundary. In the non-fold flat ones, I wouldn't have too much in the fold as the innermost bits can be lost. Otherwise can't find fault really.”

“I was very pleased with my first experience of Bob Books. The process of producing the book was straightforward and I was impressed with the number of variations that were possible. The book arrived well within the promised time and I was pleased with the quality of the result. I shall certainly think about using Bob Books again for future projects.”

“I have been using Bob's books now for years, and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Each time I go away I make a book. Our last trip was to Australia for 3 week's and I created a book for each place we visited. They are great to look at and reminisce and you don't have photographs floating around all over the place! Love Bob's books!!”

“I printed big books twice and I was very satisfied with the results. The service was also great. I also appreciate the fact that I have the option to design my book in professional software (like InDesign) and then upload the .pdf (and not exported .tif or .jpeg files).”

“I have had a book done in B/W and one in colour and both were excellent ,I am a B/W buff and the book I had done in B/W just blew me away it had a film feel to it.When I print myself I tend to print on the darker side so what I found when I had my book printed I lost detail in the shadows my own fault I will know next time to lighting my shadows up.What I would like Bob Books to do is if the shadows look a bit to dark at the printing stage is to adjust them or for me to readjust.But saying that you will be over the moon by the quality of a B/W book.”

“Used Bob Books for the first time for a photo book having used other providers in the past. I chose them because I had some panaromic photos that I wanted to display across two pages and wanted a format where they could be viewed completely flat, and they offered this in their photographic books which are more expensive, but top quality. The finish is excellent, and I will use them again. Their customer service is also first class as I wasn't happy with the front cover photo positioning when my book arrived and they reprinted it free of charge which I thought was fantastic given I had positioned the photo manually myself! All in all, I would recommend without hesitation, and in fact, already have!”

“I have made a few books with Bob now (annually) to use as photo albums. It's great to be able to flick through it and my daughter loves to read it too (as most of the photos are of her!). Bob books are not the cheapest service out there but the quality and service are great and I haven't had any nasty surprises on receiving the book. They come well packaged and it's so exciting to unwrap them. I use the square 20x20 hardback option with standard paper. The software only takes 5 minutes or so to learn and means you can take your time playing around with the layout before uploading it. My top tips would be: - make your photos as light as possible as they tend to print a little darker than they appear on screen - use the full page option as much as you can - it looks modern and shows off your photos at their best - triple check the spelling of your captions as it would be really annoying to have a typo!”

“Just received a gallery mount picture with pre drilled studs ( no extra charge ) fantastic quality again Bob Books never disappoint, I have used BB for books, calendars, posters, canvas pictures and gallery mounted pictures alway a professional product. The presentation boxes that are now available really add an extra touch of class for those special photo books well worth the little bit extra.”

“Very positive experience - easy website tools to create a lovely book with, it crushed now and then but always saved it luckily. Printing and the actually book quality is great. Delivery time was fine too. Next time I'll try a different format and a better quality paper.”
