“The overall product was acceptable but I have noticed that some of the photos, the black and white ones, in one of the books lacked depth in the blacks. This made the photos appear more exposed and took depth away from them giving them a more mid-tone grey feel.”

“I purchased the most basic small landscape photo book as an experiment to find a more convenient way to view my bird images that I usually look at on screen. I was surprised at the print quality and the ease, flexibility and stability of the design software. It was easy to assemble the images I wanted on the page and add text. My book arrived promptly and was very securely packed. Very pleased with the entire experience, and if I put another collection together Bob Books will be my first choice for sure. I had a single reservation: the cover image printed a little over-exposed, but I'm not sure if that was a production issue or if I overlooked the fault in my image (my monitor is not accurately colour calibrated).”

“Amazing experience with Bob Books making a gift for my husband of his best wildlife photos. Downloadable software made everything very easy and I really enjoyed editing photos and layout. Fabulous end product speedily delivered. Cannot recommend highly enough. Well worth the money.”

“Bobs books produce books of the highest quality. They are dispatched well packed and arrive in tip top condition I have made over a dozen books now and have encouraged many people to use this product. Yes, you need good photos but they are shown to their highest potential. Whatever your subject ,your book will become a keepsake to be enjoyed for years to come.”

“Service is always excellent and books are very high quality. Some photos do appear quite a bit darker than expected which is disappointing but overall I'm usually pretty happy with the finished product.”

“It was very easy to make a photo book using the desktop software, and the result has been much admired. But I'm sorry to say that was inordinately expensive, hence my rating. Even with the 20% discount offerred on my next order, that book will be published elsewhere.”

“I ordered several photo books to celebrate my Mum’s 100th birthday and the online software worked reliably and in a friendly manner. A query was answered very quickly and thoroughly online by a polite and knowledgeable member of staff. The books were delivered very quickly indeed and without the excessive postage charges that you sometimes encounter. The quality of the books is excellent and I like the idea that you can publish them if you wish to. All in all a very impressive company - thanks!”
