“We have had alot of fun making up our photobooks. The software was easy to use and ordering was simple. Delivery was faster than we had expected and the end product looks very professional. Overall, we are very happy with Bob Books and have now done four books in total.”

“This was my first attempt at creating a book and I was pleased with the result. A little difficult to decide which book creation method and paper was appropriate. I couldn't use Bob designer on my (old) computer and had to borrow a laptop. Good range of book sizes but I really needed less than the minimum number of pages. Picture spaces on page templates did not seem to relate to the standard 3 x 4 aspect ratio but I managed to sort it out. "Ask Bob" was a useful feature. Unfortunately a caption got hidden un-noticed under one of my pictures but when the book was printed, there it was showing through! Beware! Check carefully! The widget for checking the quality of your photos was excellent - it worked! My photos looked really good even though they were taken with a point-and-shoot camera. I would rather have a cheaper price than points...”

“The finished product was very good. I know this sounds impatient, but I would have liked to have had a bit more information about when the book was going to arrive. Perhaps you could include details about what stage of production the book is at, etc. Otherwise, it's very good.”

“This would have been very good. I like the product and the APP made it easy to put together. The only disappointment was the delivery options. I got the book as a gift for a friend who was going travelling. I went through the process in the hope it would give me an express delivery (albeit at an extra cost, but I expected this as most companies now have this option). However I was disappointed to find there was no option available. I rang your customer services who said they would try and get it out to me sooner, but couldn't guarentee. I offered to pay a furthe fee but they said they couldn't help. Needless to say it didn't come back quicjk enough and I've had to post the book onto my friend, but this has proved difficult as they aren't in one place for long. Such a shame there is no express delievery option. Cheers”

“Bob Books has a very good service and helps create very good quality photobooks! The software is easy to use and quite flexible, so you can create your own templates. The quality of the paper and printed pictures is very nice. The service is quite fast, although they should improve their international delivery service and offer international quick delivery.”

“I'm a big fan and I've found the books get easier to produce the more you do website. I've tried to use the IPad version but the initial format offers you a much smaller bobs book size option. Until the very large size options are available I'll be using the laptop software. Top tip. Get your software people onto this and offer the same Ipad and tablet choices as you do for laptops.”

“I have used several different providers and this is,in my view, one of the best. As ever there are always areas for improvement. The following would make the tool even more user friendly. 1) alert people to the length of time required for upload 2) learn from the user requirements by the time you get half way through the book it becomes irritating if there are three or four preferred page styles but you have to make each page from scratch 3) make it more straightforward to add text - for example by lallowing a photospace to alternatively be a textbox. 4) have a separate cover/back page design section including title and spine etx design. This would then get close to a ten from me.”

“Ordered matte photobooks. Prints not as sharp as I had expected (very high res images from DSLR) as advice from a member of staff was that these looked the sharpest, must be due to resolution of picture using the required software. Software was very intuitive and very easy to use as was the whole order process. A printing fault was promptly sorted out for me. Overall happy with result.”

“I have a small library of Bob books now, including monochrome and matte examples. They are a satisfying way to view pictures which one wants to preserve in immediately tangible form. The overall quality of the books is good. I find that I have to lift the lightness slightly from the version on my PC screen to get the best results. In about 5% of cases this doesn't work and the picture remains a bit flat in the printed form; so you do have to learn to use the medium. But generally the results are very good. The matte books suit B&W shots; having seen examples from a very competent friend I was pleased I did one myself - and will probably do so again. The software is easy to manipulate; and delivery times have improved significantly over the years.”

“The quality of the albums is superb, the prices are good, and turnaround and delivery is very quick. My only complaint would be the software as it doesn't have a feature to produce a proof of an album for showing clients (we use the pro version of the software).”
