“I found the whole thing exceptionally easy. First step - chose the size of the book - I based this around the images which I had cropped to A4 - that said the book size. As almost all were landscape that dictated the book shape. Then did I wnat to spread images across two pages - yes so I used their higher end photo book - a bit more pricey but the book should stand the test of time. Second step - load the images. I had already decided on the number and tailored that to the page number availability. I inserted them manually rather than use the Auto which I knew would end up with a random distribution and that was not what I wanted. Then a difficult choice - to add words or not? I decided that a one page introduction would be enough and the photos could tell their own story. I also think it is critical to have decided whom the book is for - this one was for me (and family) so I could explain each photo if needed. Title on front. Name on spine. Job done - send it all off and await delivery. I was delighted with the end product.”

“I just received my 9th Travel book and it is just as gorgeous and professional as all the others. Quality is outstanding and service is top notch and the Bob Designer app is sheer pleasure to work with. Couldn't ask for more. And, it is even better now that they ship international orders by Royal Mail. Works much better for me than through a courier service.”

“Had to shoot a wedding for a friend at the last minute, she wanted it shot in sepia. I am not a professional photographer but am quite confidant and the official photographer did turn up a bit late. After processing the images i sent them to bobs books and very shortly afterwards received the photobook. I was really pleased with the quality and service and would thoroughly recommend bobs books to anyone.”

“My first use of Bob Books and I am delighted. The software to create the book was very easy to understand. The quality of the book I've received is superb - beautiful picture reproduction on very sturdy pages. Even more impressive, after I had made an error in my order details, the customer service staff were excellent and put everything right. I will definitely use this company again.”

“I created an album of my daughter's first year. It took me weeks to put together using the Bob Designer software, but that wasn't because it was difficult, more because it was so flexible and I kept wanting to tweak the layout of my photos. There is an autofill option to save time though, if you don't want to get as involved as I did. We had a large lie flat book, with the maximum number of pages, so it wasn't cheap, but by the time it arrived we knew we had made the right decision choosing Bob Books over cheaper competitors. The quality of the paper, binding and printing is amazing... it looks like it has been put together professionally. 100% value for money. My only criticism is that I would have liked to add more pages, but I guess that is a practicality of the binding. Will be using again for year 2!”

“The quality of the books that I have had from this company have been First rate. I will say that I have been a professional photographer for about 50 years and have had experience with a couple of other company’s and none of them are as god. The software is very intuitive when you get used to it but everyone’s software needs learning first and it’s worth taking the time to do this. There are so many things you can do when you do get used to it. I mostly disable most of the automatic functions to do with the construction of the book but it would be best to just go along with them for a little while until you know what your doing. I pay for the best quality book with photographic quality, hard back cover and lay flat pages and I must say they are superb and I haven’t seen anyone else’s that can match them.”

“Lovely book and easy to use software. Lots of freedom for someone who might want to tweak page layouts. Alternatively you could just use the designs already there- so as much or as little input from you as you want. Despatch was prompt but then delivery took a long time- perhaps that’s the post’s fault though. Slight bit disappointed with how the front cover is printed on a wrap around sticky back plastic type thing rather than directly on the hardback that had added a fair percentage to the cost.”
