“The quality of the books is very good. I like especially the lay flat feature, which enable photos to span the centre fold. Bob books is the best photo book company I have found.”

“Bob Books produce a high quality product and I have used them for quite a number of publications ranging from small soft-cover to large high quality hardback photographic books. They are not cheap but you do get what you pay for and will not be disappointed unless you over-estimate the quality of your original photographs - so all images should be carefully checked for sharpness and for dust or flaws at 100% using Photoshop Elements or equivalent prior to submission. The software is intuitive and easy to use and the calendar package is excellent too. The company enables many creative people to express themselves in print by publishing projects that are unlikely to be supported or financed by publication houses (although some publications certainly deserve a wider audience) and as the books are supplied on demand there will be no storage or remaindering issues. These books are also an excellent means of building up a portfolio, whether for personal or public use.”

“Have been using Bob Books for many years now and have had no reason or urge to use any other company for production of our photo books. The software is improving all the time, the quality of the finished product is excellent, especially the photographic paper products and customer service if any small problem arises continues to be excellent. We have often recommended the service to friends.”

“Great tool which I have used to produce numerous 'Holiday Books' which I find so much nicer to look at than on screen or in old fashioned albums. It is very easy to use and hugely flexible in terms of the design of the book and the pages, background colour and design, number of photographs on a page and how they are arranged. Most importantly it's fun to use !”

“I now have 10 of the lay flat albums from Bob Books and I love them. Colour reproduction is excellent, just like 'on screen' (I use a 'Spyder' to callibrate my screens). Print quality and binding are also excellent. Recommended; I will certainly continue to use them!”

“I've ordered a number of photo books from Bob Books over the course of last couple of years - anything from our wedding and honeymoon to gradually putting together old holiday albums and photos of our daughter for mother's day. Each time, I've been delighted with the quality of the final book - and its always arrived in good time! The ability to upload pdfs is excellent - being able to use my own InDesign template makes everything so much quicker and more user friendly... probably one of my favourite features.”

“I'm a big fan and I've found the books get easier to produce the more you do website. I've tried to use the IPad version but the initial format offers you a much smaller bobs book size option. Until the very large size options are available I'll be using the laptop software. Top tip. Get your software people onto this and offer the same Ipad and tablet choices as you do for laptops.”

“My first Bob Books Photo book Really good quality book, much nicer than the Apple photo books I used previously. I used the Lustre Photographic paper in a nice lay-flat hardback book. Small criticisms are that there is no dust jacket or protective sleeve, and that the prints were possibly a tad warm. Note, even with a calibrated monitor, if you send out for printing it's almost impossible to get dead on what you see on-screen. The staff were very helpful on live chat when I had questions. The software is not the easiest to use as you don't get very large views of the pictures you've positioned. You do get a fair amount of customisation, but it doesn't score well for intuitiveness. I should say I haven't found any company that's really nailed the software side. Delivery was prompt, and the book was well packaged.”

“The print quality of the photographs is excellent, presumably this relies on their having been properly processed in the first place, you can put as much or as little narrative as you like and they are very easy to produce. The modern day equivalent of the photograph album. Much more likely to be preserved than images which are only 'preserved' or stored in digital form. John Cucksey”

“I really think Bobbooks is amazing! Not only is it the best software I have encountered for making photobooks, but there are constant updates so that it's always modern and up to date. Customer service is brilliant too - I've had a couple of minor issues and phoned/emailed them, and I've received instant helpful replies. Delivery is also superb - my books arrive within a week of me submitting them! I can't say enough good things about Bobbooks and definitely recommend them to all my friends!”

“I have been using Bob Books for many years now, and have always been very impressed by the quality (I have produced both photographic and classic books), the ease of putting together a book and the options available. When I lived in the UK the delivery was very prompt, however since moving to Singapore, I have had trouble with the delivery. Bob Books have been incredibly helpful in dealing with the delivery issues.”

“Having always printed out photographs and put them physically in albums, even continuing into the digital era, I was sceptical about the quality and flexibility of these books. I have however been proven wrong, I have done 4 now and they just keep getting better. The quality is stunning with huge layout and comments options. The book of the month sections is such a treat to look through too, I always get tips and aim to be as good Give it a go”
