“The quality of the finished product (photo book) was extremely high. The lay flat spine works well and the pages are photo quality. I think you could further stiffen or thicken the outer covers to enhance the finished product. I have also recently used other photo book software (bonus print) and found it quicker and easier to use in some areas than the Bob Books software, so I imagine this is an area for continuous improvement. Generally though I am delighted with Bob Books and have started putting together our next photo book to order.”

“The designer was easy to use even though it did take me along time and when I got stuck a couple of times there was someone at the end of the phone to help me. I needed that twice and was treated really well. The book of holidays in Crete over 30 years is lovely making my husband weepy on Christmas morning. Thank you”

“I have used Bobs Books several times now, and have always found the results to surpass my expectations,, the quality of the printing and materials has been excellent, and the delivery extremely quick - even in the run up to Christmas. When you consider the cost of producing the same book as a photo album with photo prints the price is very reasonable . I can thoroughly recommend them.”

“I was impressed with the service however on a number of the calendars I ordered there were ink marks from previous prints on the White pages of the calenda.”

“I really like the software and the finished products. I would like greater flexibility on the number of pages as I generally find I end up with spare ones and have to find ways to fill them (or ways to reduce them). I also find the proliferation of special offers a little annoying and would prefer a fixed price; you frequently offer 15% and 20% discounts but it would be much better for customers to have permanently lower prices and certainty about them. If you have 'high' and 'low' seasons then by all means charge different rates for those but advertise them so we can make the judgement of whether to go ahead and publish in the high season or wait for a better price in the low season.”

“The photographic quality of the book I have produced on Myanmar is very good. I found it easy to produce with complete freedom to set my own page layout. It replaces the photograph album of bygone times and I shall be producing others. If you think about it the cost of producing a photo-book is probably less than the cost of buying film, having it developed and printed; if you ignore the one off capital cost of digital equipment.”

“I make a number of calendars for my family each year using our travel photos and the quality of the printing is excellent. There are a wide variety of templattes to use, and if I ever have problems the customer service is most impressive.”

“There are many websites where you can design and produce your own Calendars. We use a professional lab to print our photographs and wanted our client calendars to be comparable with the quality we expect. Bob Books did just that. The design process was easy, the quality was excellent and the delivery efficient. We wish we'd ordered more because friends keep asking if we have any left over! My only comment which in retrospect could have helped, concerns the quality of the glossy paper. It isn't easy to write on with a ballpoint or pencil. Ink is no problem but we wonder how many of our clients have an ink pen to hand when writing on the calendar. It's a very small point which in no way affects our view of Bob Books.”

“I am incredibly pleased with the quality of the books. I was disappointed to have to pay an additional $100 to rush the books even though i sent in my order 5 days prior to the cutoff date for christmas arrivals. The site says to add a few extra days if you are shipping internationally. I was told later that it should have been 8 days but nowhere on your site does it say that.”

“From placing my order to delivery it took 4 days despite it being only 3 weeks before Christmas - an excellent service. The book is stunning, with excellent quality photos. The only error, on my part, was the size of the writing, the font size is slightly too large but will remember this prior to ordering my next book! I would definitely recommend Bob Books to anyone who is looking for a professionally finished photo book.”
