“Used bob books several times now. Had a matte photobook delivered for a customer, there was shiney marks and faint line which looked like from a roller on the front cover and inside the box but customer services took care of this for me very swiftly. The cover of the replacement did have some slight marks on (looked like roller/printer marks) it too but acceptable, possibly just a quality control check problem but overall im very happy using bob books.”

“At first I found it a bit quirky and slow, in terms of adding photos and text. After a while, I got accustomed to it. My main bugbear was not being able to copy and paste text from another source. This was not just a photo book, but a story. I also wasn't sure that the colour would truly represent what I was looking for. In the end, the recipient loved it and the colour was perfect. Thank you.”

“Absolutely delighted with my experience of producing a photobook - and got to grips with the software pretty quickly. This review would have rated my experience as 'Very Good' but I have to downrate it because of my experience with producing a canvas wall art. Despite sizing the image accurately in Photoshop when I tried transposing it into your 80 x 60 cm format it lost the correct rectangular shape and I lost the balance of the subject. I ended ordering it with a competitor!! I would have loved to have ordered it with you because of your superior quality. Sorry!!”

Dear Celia, We are happy to hear that you are pleased with your new photobook. As for your canvas issue, this may be because although the main template is sized at 80cmx60cm there is a ‘wrap around’ to consider. This is the part of the canvas that will overlap the wood and it will be visible so should you want your image to appear on the sides of the canvas as well, the software will require your image to be larger than the size that you would like. “Having ordered several BobBooks over the years, they have always been well produced. Shame they use DPS for delivery - they bent my last book. Bob Books replaced with no problem, but a better delivery company would have avoided that.”

“I selected hard glossy cover with gloss paper inside. Prints turned out well. Ended up having a few books printed for family after a wedding. After postage i paid about £50.00 for each small landscape book which friends thought was quite a lot. It would be good to have pricing included in the info given when selecting book size, cover and paper type. I found that i was selecting these items and only finding out the cost at the end of the selection process.”

When you create a book in the software, you can see the total price of your book in the bottom right section of the screen (next to the Basket button). This price automatically adjusts when you add/remove pages or if you change the size or the paper or the size of your book. We also have a price list on our website (https://www.bobbooks.co.uk/all-prices) where you can find information on every photobook. Please note these prices are for 26 pages book but it includes the addition of extra pages. “Since the demise of Apple photo books this time last year, I have made twenty photo books with Bob Books and I can’t imagine now how I coped without being able to make and save my own templates. This is my favourite feature and on the whole I am pleased with the outcomes. On the downside, I still have intermittent problems when opening the programs, which bizarrely never seem to operate the same way twice running.”

“Pleased with the variety of display options available. Textiles backdrops is my preferred tab. The online system is very easy to navigate. Tend not to use the suggested layout option too often as most don't maintain the integrity of the original photos - but it is a good backstop for suggesting ideas. The end product is of a high standard even when opting for the entry level options. They create very good memory stores! I have had some issues with uploading photos which having done so are not visible on screen; logging out and back in again gets over this problem. The size of the working area on the screen could do with being larger - there is a lot of redundant space under the images of the pages being worked on. I don't seem to have the warnings anymore that by projects will be deleted unless modified and re-saved. This meant that I lost the option to re-order one of my books. Was able to use the voucher system very easily - a Christmas gift from a relative. Will continue to use the product.”

“I was really impressed with the quality of the photos and of the book itself. I found the designer download rather confusing at first but there is plenty of help available. I would definitely recommend Bob Books to anyone wishing to create a professional-standard photobook.”

“Book arrived after just over a week of ordering. Looked as expected. I am happy with the end result. I was in when it arrived thankfully as it was a wet day and the courier rang the door but just dumped the package on the doorstep without waiting for me to answer. Had I not been home , the package may have got very we and therefore damaged. All other aspects of the service were fine. Thank you.”

“It took a Little while to figure out how to design and upload the book (I used the PDF/InDesign Option), hence less than full marks (although this could be just me). But once uploaded, print and delivery were Swift, and the print Quality was very good indeed. It is also a little pricey.”
