“Better quality prints than competitors”

“I had to download the software 5 times in order to complete the book. Your technical support were very helpful but it took a long time to resolve and I ended up having to rush the design in order to get the delivery for Christmas. Each time I downloaded the software I was able to work on the book but once I closed it, the desktop stopped working and I had to re - download it saving it with a different suffix - as advised by Jim Henderson in Customer Care. It was a very frustrating process. At the end I would have liked to change to a hard cover, but discovered I would have to reduce the number of pages which would have meant a redesign and because of the issues I had I did not have time to do this. So it was a very frustrating process.”

Hi Janet, Thank you for taking the time to write this review. I am so sorry to hear about the problems you've had with the software. It sounds incredibly frustrating. Its not something that I've heard about from other customers before, so I can't say why you were having this issue. Also, our hardcover books generally allow for more pages than our paperback books, so I am not sure why you would have had to reduce the number of pages in your book to change the cover type. If you would like to discuss this, or perhaps order the book again, but with a hardback cover, please do get in touch with us and hopefully we can get to the bottom of this. “First of all the quality of the books themselves. Secondly, whenever there has been a problem - mainly my fault - the customer service is second to none, as is the technical help. Expensive .... but worth it.”

“The book was of good quality, which we ere very happy about. However, we thought the pricing on the website was misleading thus we ended up paying much more than expected. We though that for 9.99 pounds someone would both choose the photos and prepare the layout of the book. For our surprise, choosing the photos had a cost of 9.99 and the design another cost of 9.99. The website is totally misleading, so even though we paid for the book, we were disappointed with the cost - as it didn't match our expectation.”

“The photo book we put together was beautiful. Great print quality, great paper the photogrpahs look amazing. I love the wrap around full print cover too, it really makes the book special. We ahd aproblem with the sequencing of pages in our book, but it was dealt with very helpfully by customer services and a new copy in the correct order was sent out within a few days. We would definately rcommend! Thank you! :)”

“I love using Bob Books to make my photobooks! The software is so easy to use and makes getting your perfect layout easy. Not the cheapest books on the market but the quality of the product makes them worth their price. The last book I created was a present for my Mum she was very pleased with it.”
