“I find this card very usefull, especially if there is ques at tiolets. I also have been pulled by the police as I had to stop the car as needed to go, and I shown them my card and they were ok about it. I fund it very helpful in many sistuations, and I feel safe having one.”

“I received a card in the post as requested, but was amazed that my name wasn't printed on it. My hairdresser said that if anyone gave her a card like that to use her toilet, she would have second thoughts, as it is similar to one that anyone can purchase on the Internet. Maybe that extra bit of identification could be considered.”

“Once I had been diagnosed I felt scared and very overwhelmed by all the information. Someone from the bladder and bowel community got in touch with me and talked me through things at my own pace and explained how they could help me going forward. . It really helped me to see it’s ok to be scared and there are so many people out there with similar needs to my own. I shouldn’t be embarrassed about my situation , I’m still anxious about self catheterising but I’m getting there with the help and support from the bladder and bowel community.”

“It’s hard to assess as I’ve only recently joined. One thing I would say is whilst it’s great to have a card to show in venues, I have no idea whether venues will allow use of the toilet and believe by law they don’t have to. That’s the bit that needs changing as toilet needs are a basic human need and having been refused the use of a toilet it can be embarrassing and demeaning.”

“Here in Peterborough in the huge shopping area there is one public toilet. If you have to go to the loo the shops and restaurants demand you buy food and drink. The card 'I can't wait', is a lifesaver.”
