“I spoke to John on a couple of times in one day once explaining I may not need anything as I have an appointment coming with urology and then I later rang him explaining that the district nurses didn’t send everything out that I thought they would have so I did ask if he was able to help and he was. I have felt very low in myself and actually embarrassed about having a catheter fitted but for the first time in a while I have felt normal and I honestly believe it was down to John willing to help and making me feel comfortable over the phone. I do know it’s nothing to be embarrassed over but I’ve gone from being so full of life and being independent to being so dependent on my 72 year old mum and constant pain with slipped discs with the only mobility I have is so little and on crutches, having had one thing after another with my health and having the catheter fitted was a big shock to myself and because of John’s friendliness and professionalism it made me feel normal which that I can’t put a rating on as that is priceless to me. Contacting yourselves was painless and stress free and I would like to a huge thank you to John and for the work your staff and organisation are doing”

“The Bowel & Bladder Community has been amazing and such a great support. The card has been a real lifesaver, especially in situations where finding a toilet quickly could otherwise become very stressful and embarrassing. Thank you for providing such a valuable service and helping people feel a little more confident when out and about. ❤️”

“Given the number of times that I have been caught short, when away from home, and the number of times that I have been turned away by jobsworths people. I find that equipped with a Bladder and Bowel facilitator. I can get passed most of them and one simple phone photo of the staff member refusing generally persuades them to think about their future. And can save me from all of the problems.”

“The service at the center was satisfactory. As a non-native English speaker, I found it difficult to grasp the details of the treatment, but the staff were very considerate and did their best to explain things using the simplest language possible.”
