“The day after I received my card I was able to use toilets that were closed to the public much to my relief the shop was more than willing to help me and they thought it was a great scheme to have. So pleased I applied for this card 👍👍👍”

“I have been shielding since before the start of lockdown and only this week did I venture out to the local shopping park. I was fully aware that none of the stores had accessible toilets for members of the public. However, I needed to get out and I thought I’d be on! I’d only just got there and already aware that I needed the loo. In the past, I’d make the excuse of having to change my child’s nappy or toddler requiring the loo - in order to use the staff disabled myself. However, since lockdown, the disabled loo was taped up. Luckily, my “Just Can’t Wait Card” had arrived in good time and was in my wallet - but I wasn’t convinced it would work. I couldn’t hold it any longer, so I quietly approached the cashier and showed her the card. She swiftly got up, asked her co-worker to takeover her till, and kindly escorted me to their disabled toilet. It worked!! However, I’m not confident that this would have worked if the supermarket was busy!! We were the only shoppers in store at the time. Ideally, retailers need to be educated on this. I’ve struggled since my kidney stones and it’s ruined my shopping experience. I only ever venture out if I know there are accessible facilities. On this occasion I knew there’d be issues, but I thought I perhaps wouldn’t need the loo. I’m so thankful that I stumbled across your website during lockdown. Keep up the good work!”

“Wish I’d got one of these years ago when my problems started.. obviously I didn’t know about the cards until a friend showed me hers. It’s really helped me since it came. My sister has the same troubles as me, so I’ve told her about it, and she’s already applied for one.”
