Being a taxi driver i have tried at so many places mini markets including " Spar, mcolls, premier, garage,s. Unfortunately they all refused me to use their toilets with a excuse that i do not have my name and photo on the card. So it did not help me.

Hi Shamraise, I'm sorry that you've had some negative experiences so far, however I urge you not to give up using it. It is important to note that the card does not guarantee access to toilets, but is designed to quickly and discreetly motion the need to use the facilities. The more people that use them the more recognised and accepted they will become. Even if you are refused access in the first instance you may be opening the door for the next person who uses one. It is very hand to use when your out and in the pub when you want to go to the toilet I have being used mind

Details of public toilets does not always down load which can cause added stress to the situation

I haven’t received mine as yet and sent for it so long ago I’ve forgotten, yet I know of someone who applied for one and got it within two weeks.

Applied twice for card and still no card received! Was a big relief to know I would have this card, to help my often urgency when out and about by giving me support and a sense of relief, but now equally dissapointed at your ordering system failing. Re your website; a fantastic help being able to pin point nearest facilities, although Confused as to why it only mentions certain facilities when others around? Your website does not make it clear why some are mentioned and some not? Also your website does not mention nor make it clear if your card, should I receive one, be recognised only by certain outlets/ restaurants or by all and whether your card is a recognised orgsnisation to which any outlet would or should not refuse as it would be equally embarrassing if on presenting your card i were to be told we do not have public facilities! On attempting to phone your organisation to ask all of the above, I constantly receive your answering service, that you are having a high level of calls, please call back? I doubt this being the case and suspect more like theres nobody in your one man office or at home to take calls. So all in all, not a very good support system to us poor sufferers! Regards

Hi Lydia, I'm very sorry that you haven't received your card yet. I can see your first application was processed and sent out so I can only assume that it has been lost in the post somewhere. Your second application was only made two days ago and would have been processed yesterday so should arrive in the next couple of days. With regards to finding the nearest facilities, we are still working on building out our database to include as many places as possible. As I'm sure you can appreciate it takes time to do this and is an on-going process. The card can be shown in anywhere when you are out and about although it does not guarantee access to a toilet, it merely helps explain and potentially avoid a potentially embarrassing situation. Unfortunately, we aren't able to hold a list of places that have been shown to recognise the card and as more and more people use it and spread the message we would have to be constantly updating it. We're trying to find a suitable solution to this currently. I apologise that you haven't been able to get through to speak to anyone on the phone - if you need something urgently please do keep trying to call and if you get the answer phone please leave a message and someone will call you back. Our services are offered completely free and with more than 2 million people visiting our website every year we have a lot of enquiries to deal with. While we endeavour to respond as quickly as possible, some times it is not always possible and will take some time. I understand you feel let down at the moment and again I apologise again for the inconvenience caused. I hope the above sheds some light into the situation and helps answer some of your questions.
