Direct 4 Pet is the new easy name from Black Cat Medicines Limited.
Established in 1985 within a Lancashire Veterinary Surgery, we are now a busy Internet Pet Pharmacy and Pet Store shipping over 40,000 orders a month to our fantastic loyal customers. We are committed to delivering quality products at competitive prices and our Veterinary Surgery has been providing the highest standards of care for over 30 years. Our philosophy is to deliver excellence through a compassionate, approachable, and professional service to all our customers.

Our team of friendly team is made of up of veterinary surgeons, SQP's and an amazing back office team of Product Managers, Customer Services and our super efficient warehouse team. They are all happy to chat and are only a call away. All our vets are fully qualified and registered with the Royal Veterinary College; in addition, all our vets have practiced for many years.

The team at Black Cat Medicines has been together for a number of years and have an excellent working relationship together. Our team represents a valuable combination of experience and enthusiasm with the younger members of the team providing a constant source of innovation.

“The delivery is fairly regular although it seems every Tom Dick and Harry is involved in this and feels obliged to send me an email to tell me about their part”

“Finding what I needed was relatively easy, getting it has been painfully slow. If you're going to compete in the market place, you will need to be slicker on deliveries. I ordered on the 21st Nov, it's now the 25th and I do not have it. With places like eBay I would have got it by now and with free postage, so when you ask was my delivery on time, I say by who's standards? That's the sort of competition you are up against I'm sorry to say. So the three remaining questions in this review can't be answered because they pertain to the physical delivery of my order, which I am still waiting for.”

“It was easy to place the order but i was very disappointed with the delivery time. The website says that orders are sent within 1 day yet my order took 6 days to be sent. If I had known it would take this long I wouldn't have ordered.”

“What’s really important to me is a fast delivery, next day would be perfect. Unfortunately a 3 or 4 day wait is not acceptable when your dog needs treatment for worms.”

“Website ordering was same as any other website. Product however turned out to be poorly designed. Sides of the dog bowl were flexible and due to shape difficult to wash and dry so only used once.”

“Initially, I would have given this webshop 5 stars. Great prices, subscription arrived on time, however, last months delivery still hasn't arrived, though payment taken, and there has been no notification from the shop. Not pleased, as my dog is quite reliant on this suppliment, so have to rush to a pet shop tomorrow. Currently awaiting reply from customer support, whilst this months payment has already been taken.”

“I found it very easy to order. The only problem I had was delivery. You use Amazon as a courier and my parcel was found thrown over my neighbours gate wet and damaged. I have complained to Amazon as this has happened a few times with Amazon. It puts me off ordering from businesses who use Amazon as a courier service”

“I've order from direct4pets a few times now and the service has been great, quick delivery, packaged well but unfortunately this time the box was all battered the medicine bottle had been put in upside down and there was no syringe plus the price has gone up by £5. Hopefully if I order again the product won't look like it's been thrown around and it'll have everything I need. It's disappointing because previous purchases have been great.”

“Actually ordering my goods (PECKISH FATBALLS) was easy enough - I also had to do nothing when...a few days later I was informed that the goods were not in stock (which was slightly more annoying). I could have cancelled the order and got a full refund. However, I was offered a discount on my next purchase. And now - under a week later - I'm told the FatBalls are Coming! So I'm pleased - and so are the birds in the garden. Good Prices, Good Balls... Yay!”
