“This company has just ripped me off for 40 pounds”

“Wanted to open account, with betfair. Just to bet from home in laptop instead of going to bookies , customer agent saidthey wanted/ needed the following Copy /picture of my driving license Copy / my of passport Copy of all recent bank statements Copy of all my recent utility bills My Phone number, my email address , father's name, my date of birth. Detail of my job where l worked, how long l worked there, my current income ? Detail of how long l had lived in my current address and mortgage. I told the customer services agent no thankyou then. And he then said why won't you give us this information so we can open your account. Other customers do ???? Identity theft for one. Why do they need all that just so you can have a bet. I didn't need that much personal information to get my mortgage.”

“When you have a problem you can’t even speak to them nowadays. You are supposed to use a live chat facility. Unfortunately these are staffed by young students who don’t use the site, don’t understand your issues and seem disinterested in solving your issue. Betfair also remove features like ‘in game statistics’ on football to give you less advantage. That’s enough for me. Plenty of other companies to wager with. Thoroughly rubbish company now it has been taken over by the Irish idiot.”

“I have just left Betfair after having had yet another rude member of staff with not a care in the world. I had one yesterday also, and I’ve had enough. I have been with Betfair for years, a loyal customer, and have noticed a decline in many different ways over the past year or so. This time though, I couldn’t handle Karl the customer service support, and shut the account. I really can’t stand, after having put so much money in to Betfair, being a loyal paying customer, being spoke to twice on the trot so disrespectfully. I find many but not all Customer Service staff need more training, or at least some training, in just basic Customer service skills. There will be no score for Customer Service below as there was no Customer Service.”

“Have been a loyal client with Betfair for a number of years and wagered over a six figure sum with them, But the way i was spoken to last Thursay by a member of staff on a internet chat was disgusting. So i closed the account permanately and will never have anymore dealings with Betfair whatsoever. Then having them send me emails as to why and i must think again. NO BETFAIR you must make your your customer service treats customers properly.”

“The most appalling, evasive, unresponsive, disinterested and unhelpful customer service I’ve ever experienced. Just another scumbag company that treat their customers as though they’re an inconvenience. Please don’t give them your money. They don’t deserve it.”

“Betfair closed my account for no reason at all. They even stole my money I had in the account. I spoke to 4 representatives who fobbed me off and I also emailed them several times. Be warned, when you win many bets they don’t like it. They even stole my money. They cannot be trusted”

“Absolutely Scandalous customer service , I have been trying to get a sportsbook bet settled correctly for weeks , There appears to be no one in the Company who understands the Rules around Tricast betting , Do not bet with SPORTSBOOK if there is a settling error it may take Months to resolve ,if at all , I am contacting Peter Jackson to see if he is aware of the Shambles this company has become I have never come across more Inept people Involved in customer service in my Life .. Incredible and shocking .I will be contacting IBAS and raising the Issue on Various Media Platforms .”

“New customer bonus that doesn't actually do what it says..... once you've signed up placed your bet etc..... so you then speak to them, and they tell you that you didn't sign up for that deal..... but as a goodwill they will do it, once the bet has settled... which is not advertised as that....Rude customer service.... would stay away!!!”

“You lose they take your money, you win then they freeze your account. Then they make it difficult for you to open it. Then as it’s dormant, they charge you. Then say can’t find your account with any funds.”

“I created an account, all fine, put money on my account to play poker, the second i put money onto my account they suspended me and they wont let me withdraw my money either, even when i phoned them and verified who i was. JUST GOT ROBBED!”

“Absolutely do not use this site for any sort of betting. Allowed me to deposit and win and has teased me now with my payout for over 5 months. I have contacted them every couple weeks and been assured a payout is coming and have yet to receive it. I have resorted to reporting the failure to pay as fraud to my bank and credit card company from which i made the deposit.”

“Is not very bad, but sometimes get sick when you need to wait for winning money, when you lose they will show straight away, but when you win they hold for couple hours, so of you play and using this money, couple hours means a lot of.”
