“Bought a pair of Rieker black "wide fitting shoes". Happy with the quality but the width of the uppers is only slightly wider than standard fit shoes, even though the soles are wider. The strap for the strap-fitting shoe style is slightly longer than normal and enables the shoe to be fastened. Being leather, the width could expand with use and therefore in due course, provide improved comfort.”

“I loved my first pair so much that I bought a second. Now I have blue and pink with great fit, style and comfort. The shops have a massive range to choose from and a great website. My second pair were the last in the shop so I rang to have them reserved and though it was almost closing time, the person I spoke to, Kirsten in Inverness, was so helpful and made all the arrangements and backed up by email. When I picked up the shoes from my local shop, Kirsten had left a personal message wishing me well and hoping I loved my new shoes. Such a lovely gesture.”

“For leather shoes they look cheap and the soles look and feel cheap made. For the money I would expect more from a leather shoe. This is why I will be returning them.”

Hello Angela Thank you for taking the time to leave a product review, and I'm sorry that these men's shoes were not as expected. Priced at £59.99 for real leather, we would consider this good value but of course how they fit and feel is equally important to the price. We have found that the Recommended Retail Prices (RRP) across all manufacturers have increased significantly over the years, in line with the increase in the cost of production and logistics. I trust that all other aspects of our service have been exemplary. I would be happy to recommend some alternative styles of higher quality that might be better suited to your requirements. “My experience with Begg shoes was incredible. I phoned with a query on my order and someone answered the phone! In this day and age that is a rarity.
