“Disappointed with the purchase. Poor quality bearings, possibly lower grade and not the standard I expected. Had to reorder from somewhere else. I’m attaching a photo for transparency, following contact from the seller. The SKS bearing on the left came from Bearings Online; the one on the right was purchased elsewhere. Beyond the clear difference in packaging, the bearing from Bearings Online didn’t spin smoothly. I used it in a bicycle freehub, and the wheel showed noticeably increased friction.”

We take accusations of this nature very seriously and the words you have used can be hugely damaging, especially when they are categorically false. We are a hard working, sincere family business with 42 years of bearings supply experience and are hugely offended by the accusations, with no hard evidence provided. You ordered SKF bearings and you were supplied with SKF bearings which are sourced directly from SKF. If there was any issue with the performance of the bearing then we would advise sending them back to us ASAP (FOC) and we will forward on to SKF for an inspection report. I await your reply. UPDATE FROM BEARINGS-ONLINE We asked you to retract the false allegations. Your original review statement included the word "counterfeit" therefore we need to take action as that is completely false and defamatory. As stated, our supply came straight from the SKF factory so please send these back to us and we can update you with a report when SKF inspect. Honest feedback is completely fine and acceptable. False allegations are not acceptable in our eyes. Please distinguish the difference between the two of them.
