Dear John, I'm quite alarmed at your review where you state the batteries were dead. We receive these batteries from Duracell regularly, and the stock is less than 3 months old. Duracell Plus Power is their flagship product and reports like this are virtually unheard of. We take reports like this very seriously. 3 to 5 days delivery turned into 10 days after several emails and in the end told them to post them (simple).

Dear Customer, Sorry for the inconvenience with your order. The first we heard from you regarding this issue was the 30th November. We then contacted the courier to trace the wherebouts of your delivery requesting that you allowed us a day to investigate. You were unhappy with this so a replacement was sent which arrived with you on the 1st Nov, 2 days after you called us. I'm not sure what the reference to several emails was. I ordered the battery on the Saturday, it is now Wednesday night and the battery hasn't yet arrived.

Dear Nigel, When you ordered, you selected economy shipping which has a delivery time of 3 - 5 days. Your order was dispatched on Monday as the couriers and Royal Mail do not deliver on Sunday. There is no breach of the service level with the shipping you selected at all. If it was time sensitive, we offer 2 day, and Next Day, which you could have selected. Placed order on 05/10/18 now 19/10/18. I can get anything from around the world in 2-3 days but for some reason you cannot deliver a few batteries to me from down the road in 2 weeks. I still have no idea when i will get them as they are with your courier and they don,t know when they will be able to deliver. i suggest you get someone else to do your deliveries.

placed order received nothing, after 10 days, had to call customer services to request refund as no resolution through e mail messages. as of now still waiting for payment to be refunded.

Dear Customer, Sorry for the inconvenience with your order. After investigation, it seems to have been lost and we were waiting confirmation of it being returned to us prior to issuing the refund, however your review is not completely true. Having read through all the notes on this case, we explained to you on the phone that we needed to contact the courier to establish the whereabouts of the order prior to issuing a refund. This is standard procedure as I hope you understand we need to verify the parcel is lost. In the meantime, you emailed demanding an immediate refund and you were told a refund would be made promptly, on hearing from the courier. You called again shortly afterward again demanding a refund by which stage we'd already heard from the courier, and had your order flagged for a refund. While I fully apologize for the inconvenience caused with this order, I feel the need to correct your inaccurate narrative as written in your review. Dear Simon, I waited until this case was closed to reply to your review. Firstly please accept our apologies for the issue here. This issue was caused by an anomaly in some addresses where the business name was the building name of the address. This information was being posted incorrectly into our couriers systems, resulting in a parcel which did not have sufficient information to deliver. It actually took a while to diagnose the exact problem. To close this case, we issued instructions to return the original undeliverable parcel to us, and dispatched a replacement where the address had been done manually. I only write reviews when something is consistently or exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. Unfortunately this is a very poor review because not just once but twice my order failed to be delivered and it was left to me to do the chasing as to why that was. Even after a assurance on a delivery on Friday afternoon, a week later than expected, my order has still not been delivered.

I don't know if this a fair review of your company or rather a condemnation of your couriers. The item ordered was never delivered as it appears three attempts to find us were unsuccessful. I can only assume that the company employed unprofessional drivers as we have no problem with anyone else. To be fair the cost has been reimbursed but I don't have the goods which is disspointing.

Dear Gordon, We're a little bit surprised to read this review as upon reviewing the attempted delivery history, we can see a number of failed attempts at delivery, due to no one present at the delivery address. Furthermore, we have been unsuccessful at contacting you on the number provided, which is also the number passed to the courier. Extremely poor service!!! A delivery of 2-4 days has taken 21 days so far and haven’t received it yet!! On top of that they’re not willing to take responsibility and no compensation has been offered!! My advice is don’t use this company!!!

Dear Customer, We've spoken to you a number of times to try and resolve the problem with your order and we haven't been able to. We have dispatched your order 3 times using 2 different couriers and each time it has failed at your address. The reasons for this were that the address does not exist, delivery refused and lost (which returned to us). We are investigating this with the couriers to see if there is anything strange about the address. It's highly unusual for it to happen with multiple couriers, unless there is an issue. We have of course refunded your order as we can't continue to send it to an address which somehow rejects the deliveries. We're really sorry for the inconvenience here and we're doing everything we can to find out the issue with the address to prevent this sort of thing from happening in future. Tried to add an extra couple of batteries onto the order minutes after I placed it online, by calling ‘customer support’ but was told it would have to be a new order (with another postage charge) in a very dis-interested and dismissive tone. Cheers for that!

Dear Customer, Unfortunately we don't 'hold' your order for any period of time after you've ordered. Once placed, orders are sent automatically to our warehouse where they are picked, packed and sorted 7 days a week. Collection takes place multiple times 6 days a week. For this reason it's not possible to simply add something to an order once it has been placed. This is the policy of most online stores. I ordered sr44 batteries for my vernier gauge but I was sent lr44batteries which are to big.so an email to confirm you have received this message and send me the correct batteries would be of help and then I can give you thumbs up

Dear Customer, LR44 and SR44 button cells are exactly the same size, and both would fit into the same device. The difference is in chemistry and performance. We spoke to you earlier about this and you acknowledged that you had ordered the correct batteries and that they did fit after you tied. I trust the matter is now fully resolved.
