I ordered my batteries on Wednesday 24th April at 17:30, as I needed them for my holiday on the 27th I paid £ 6.49 got next day delivery when they didn’t arrive by Friday I had to make a trip to another supplier to ensure I had them for my holiday that morning. I’m not impressed and would appreciated my delivery costs be refunded as a minimum. Yours Mr Virgo Order ref ‭1001 51716‬

Dear Mr Virgo, Correctly, your order should have arrived on Friday 26th. I'm now investigating why this was not the case and what caused the delay. Unfortunately from time to time, couriers do miss deadlines and we are not provided with a 100% service guarantee. I realise this is not helpful for you. Dear Sally, You originally contacted us on the 18th of April to ask to cancel your order after it had been dispatched, and we advised you that are can return your order to us, for a full refund. As we didn't hear from you then, we closed the ticket believing you had decided to keep your order. The next email we received from you was 18 minutes ago (around 9.20am on Tuesday 30th April). A minute later you left this review. There has simply never been a gap of 2 days when you emailed us and did not hear from us at all. We've replied to both emails you have sent us. The dates and times that emails are sent, are attached to the headers of emails, and we can see when emails have been sent, and received by us. As we have no way of knowing where your order is, or whether or not it was delivered, we have refunded you in full and will attempt to make a claim with the courier, at this late stage. 56 batteries ordered, 267 delivered! No initial response from Battery Station to emails or phone calls. Only when Paypal dispute initiated did Battery Station start to take action, even though I was trying to save then losing £125-00! Customer service very very poor.

Bought 2 cr2 batteries, 1 was dead but needed one to use and luckily the other one was ok. I asked for a replacement single but told need to return both if want refund. Even if i still had both unused, what a pain.....will shop elsewhere in future.

Dear Customer, In our many years experience of selling batteries, it is hardly ever the situation, where a single battery from a batch, let alone a pack, is faulty. It is our policy to recall the entire pack to try and find out what has happened so we can investigate and diagnose any problem in supply or any faults. We test every product which is reported as being faulty. We offered to collect the batteries and refund you in full, at our own expense. It would not have cost you anything. You chose that you did not want to do this which was your decision. We strive to offer great customer service to our customers and although this particular policy might not be convenient to you, it is designed to protect our customers from further faulty items which could occur. I paid for next day delivery but unfortunately the items ordered never arrived. I am waiting for a refund. I will never order from this company again.

Dear Dennis, We're very sorry for the issue with your order. We tracked it and investigated and this was due to a problem with Parcelforce. They simply did not deliver and lost your order. They do not offer us a 100% service level guarantee and occasionally, they do lose a consignment, as do any courier. We have claimed with them for this loss, and we have refunded you immediately. I ordered these batteries on April 1st, and they were dispatched on the same day. They did not arrive. When I phoned early this week, I was told they were still with the courier, and you would find out what had happened, and contact me again. They still have not arrived, and I have heard nothing since the day I phoned.

We left you a message stating that the order had been resent. We did not hear from you again until you left your review. I ordered 100 double A batteries to be shipped next day before midday, but they never made it at the time requested. The person I spoke to on the helpdesk couldn't help and the day after I requested the batteries be delivered I started getting text messages about my delivery, even though I paid for express delivery overnight. I've not had any response from Battery Station to apologise or offer a refund on the expensive extra courier cost to have the batteries delivered when I needed them. I will never use this company again, and highly recommend that you avoid at all costs.

Dear Charles, You ordered on the Monday after our 4pm deadline for same day dispatch. So correctly the order was dispatched on Tuesday. You received it on Wednesday on the next day delivery. You have had a response from us, which was dealt with on ticket number 17650. We have done absolutely everything correctly here. You ordered very late in the day after the deadline. I paid for next day delivery before 12. It turned up the day after. The tracking did not work and I phoned customer services a couple of times on the day the package should have arrived and was promised call backs that did not happen. On 20/02/19 at 09:26 I spoke with Rosie who promised me a refund of the next day delivery charge. I have still not received this. My order reference is 100143887

Make sure you order the correct batteries once you pay you can’t alter it you make a small mistake and ask to change it NO it’s already been sent you have to wait then send back I’m a pensioner and needed the for my doorbell to let in medical staff I had to ask my doctor if he would get them for me as I made a order and there wasn’t going to change them I had not long made the order they must be the fastes packers in the world to do that in minutes ( ignorant) don’t bother buy of someone who has the time for you and will help you I couldn’t afford to loss all that money but I can’t walk and can’t get to the post office to send them back of afford to do it keep well away avoid at your cost

Dear Mr Davies, I'm sorry you weren't happy with the service you received from us. The negative issues that you've put across are what we believe to be positive points about our business. Correctly as you state, we do not have a grace period where customers can change an order once placed. The reasons for this are that the vast majority of our customers require their orders as soon as possible, and our system is set up to provide this. Orders can arrive at packing stations literally within seconds, ready to be packed and send out on the same day deadline. It is all automatic. We don't manually review every order. Many of our customers rely on this regularly and it's why we get repeat custom. We remind customers along the website journey, to check they have the correct products, and the correct address information. It's no different to buying from a shop. We can only provide you with the products you select, and if they are the wrong products, you need to return them, just as you would do in a normal shop. You mentioned about the return at your own cost. The reason for this, is because we sell products at around half the retail price. Unlike other retailers with huge markups on clothing or other goods, we are a discounter, and we do not have the margins to allow free returns of our product, which is very heavy, often contains lithium and cannot be sent by Royal Mail. Batteries are VERY expensive to ship. So our prices are very low, and this suits the majority of our customers. We fully sympathize with the situation you're in needing the batteries for your doorbell, and difficulty in walking and so on, but there really isn't anything we can do, if you order the wrong product. Ordered on 10/1 & paid for priority delivery. As of 24/1 order has still not arrived. Apparantly, the delivery driver can't find our address, but we have lots of post/parcels delivered daily. Had to ring several times to chase & staff haven't always come back to us. However, staff on telephone are very friendly & polite and apologetic, but doesn't alter the fact that our package hasn't arrived.

Made a simple mistake in a order noticed it very quick explained it to you guys to change and you came out with it couldn’t be changed a order was a order totally very poor customer service will Never use this company again .

After placing your order, it reaches our packing stations in a matter of seconds and is usually being picked within a few minutes. Many of our customers require their goods on a timed delivery and place an order right up to our deadline knowing they can get their order the next day. For this reason we cannot introduce a delay specifically to deal with customer mistakes. We help users during the ordering process, by checking addresses against the national postcode database, and by displaying a confirmation page prior to the order being submitted. This is to allow our customers to double check their order and information before placing it. I have used battery station a couple of times before, once for rechargeable batteries and also for batteries I could not find locally Their service is excellent and on each occasion I have received batteries with recently made production dates. The range of different battery makers is also much greater than what’s available in local shops
