Re Tracking number: 0741110249199585 I'm sure that it is not the fault of the sender but the Hermes tracking site shows the status of my parcel as "Your expected delivery date is today" which it has been showing since Wednesday, it's now pm Friday and further investigation indicates that it's not even with a courier. The Hermes telephone number is automated and of no help whatsoever. I would be grateful for you advice. Kind regards

I placed my order on the 2nd of December and I am still waiting for it. I don't believe that this is the fault of Battery Station but their choice of courier.

My order was made & paid for on-line, I was given a delivery date but it never arrived. I was told that it was put on the wrong delivery van by Hermes, and it was lost. I received an email from Hermes telling me that I was 'out' when they attempted delivery. I had another email AFTER this telling me when it would be delivered! The entire order was a joke and it took two weeks to resolve. Never again!!!!

I read on your site before ordering "if ordered before 4-30pm it would be dispatched that day" Batteries still not here where is it coming from???.

Dear Eric, The cut-off is actually 4pm but yes you did order prior to then. You paid using our economy shipping for a cost of £1.25. This goes out on second class mail. The advertised shipping time is 3 - 5 working days and at this time of year, it is definitely at the longer end of that. We'd expect your order to be delivered tomorrow or Monday. The signup form tried to trick me into accepting marketing emails using a preselected checkbox. Then they didn't deliver half of my order because it wasn't in stock even though the website said it was.

With regard to the mailing list sign-up, we aren't trying to trick anyone. The sign up area has a lot of space around it so customers can notice it and make a decision as to whether or not they wish to sign up. Poor service. Paid for next day delivery, turned up a week later after the batteries were needed. Called their customer services and was informed someone would get back to me within 48 hours. I’m still waiting for that to happen. I would not use this company again.

Dear William, Your order was placed very late in the day on the 2nd of July. It was therefore dispatched on the 3rd of July and was delivered and signed for by yourself on the 4th. So I'm not quite sure what you mean by 3 days. As you state correctly, we do not allow orders to be changed after they have been placed. There are a number of reasons for this. Mainly, it is because our system is highly automated and picking and packing takes place up to 9pm each night and at the weekends, and an authorized order hits our packing stations within a few minutes of being submitted. Furthermore though, we do not allow address changes after an order has been placed as this has previously led to fraud. We have no intention of changing this policy and it is generally industry standard in e-commerce. Dear Customer, I have looked at your order and I can see that part of the billing address, was inserted into the delivery address. I have seen this happen when Auto-Complete is switched on in your browser, and your browser often changes certain fields automatically. When the address reached the courier, they defaulted to the billing address, as it was the only intact clean address on the order. As I'm sure you'll understand that due to the volume of orders we have, we don't manually look at every address we send to. The system is automated. I ordered a battery for my dive watch for a holiday in Mexico. I needed it urgently so payed for the speedy 1-2 day delivery. After 3 days it did not turn up so I couldn’t take my dive watch with me. After I told battery station, they directed me towards a copy of the signature for the delivery that was obviously not mine. They then told me they will issue a refund but need to “look into it with the carrier” (if your going to issue a refund then just do it, don’t make things worse by making me wait while you “look into” your carriers ineptitude! After 10 days from initially ordering I still waiting for Battery station to finally get back to me to issue a refund. Terrible customer service, I would not recommend them at all.

Dear Tom, The reason there is a problem with your order is because the courier reported that your order was signed for within the delivery period, and also provided GPS evidence to show that the driver was outside your property. You've advised that the signature was not yours but obviously when proof of delivery has been provided, we clearly need to look further into why this has happened as in the worst cases, it could be theft. I have asked the team to refund you today and I'm sorry this has taken this long as it could have been done much more quickly. However I do stand by the fact that when a signature and GPS of proof of delivery has been provided, we obviously need to investigate. Once again, sorry for the inconvenience. Wanted to return some batteries order wrong size (my fault) would not swap them over had to sort return myself of £180 order. Will not use again

Dear Martin, We will accept any return within 30 days for a full refund. You are able to re-order at any time you like. We do not swap orders. Like most e-commerce stores, we accept a return, and our customers can place a new order. This is industry standard. However you are indeed correct. If you have ordered incorrectly, the cost of returning the items to us is your own. I'm sure you can imagine that the cost of sending a large amount of batteries is quite significant. We simply cannot afford to offer free returns on unwanted or incorrectly ordered products. Profit on batteries already very low, and we are not selling fashion items which have comparatively huge profit on them. My A320 battery notarrived still.I am working from 10am till 9pm.Saturday as well.So please do not send by Hermes.Because I was not at home afternoon.Send it as many month ago by post.I need my hearing aid battery ASAP.I ordered it 2 weeks ago.Thank you.Erika Gazsi till no I have no news about my hearing aid.it is annoying.

I a still waiting to receive an order that was sent by BatteryStation on 1st May. Today is the 11th May. The courier (Hermes) is using delaying tactics, querying the address, which all other couriers have no difficulty finding whatsoever. BatteryStation are slow to advise what is going - phoning them is of little use as you cannot get to speak to someone who does more than take a message. When an order goes smoothly, BatteryStation is a fine company to deal with. When it does not, they seem to have no problem-solving ability whatsoever.

Dear Jon, We're very sorry with the delay with your order. We have been in communication with you promptly throughout this issue and I've just been reading through the email thread. We first heard from you on the 7th May and immediately opened an investigation into the whereabouts of your order. We heard from you again on the 8th, and we were still awaiting a response from Hermes. As you correctly state, Hermes did have an issue with the address as it did not have a building number. We contacted Hermes since, to offer clarification and we expect to hear back on Monday morning. As you stated on your review, it seems there is a problem in your area with Hermes. I accept that there are other couriers available but as your order contained lithium batteries, it could not be sent using Royal Mail. Other known brand couriers charge around £5 for such a delivery and our economy shipping is £2.99. It's the only way we can make delivery of these products affordable to our customers.
