Hi David, Your order was collected by Royal Mail on the 7th, however the 10th and 13th were both bank holidays. Royal Mail are also running at 80% staff at the moment due to precautionary self-isolation. The reason the tracking does not work is because Royal Mail 48 is only scanned upon delivery. I expect your order will be with you in the next few days. Kind Regards, The BatteryStation.co.uk Customer Service Team.

Hi Tim, Your order has taken longer than usual to deliver due to the 2 bank holidays which are not working days. Royal Mail are also running at 80% staff at the moment due to precautionary self-isolation. The reason the tracking does not work is because Royal Mail 48 is only scanned upon delivery. I expect your order will be with you in the next couple of days. Kind Regards, The BatteryStation.co.uk Customer Service Team

Hi Linda, You ordered on the 6th April and your order was collected by Royal Mail on the 7th. You paid £1.25 for Economy shipping which is a 3-5 Working Day service. So tomorrow (Tuesday 14th would be the last working day normally), however both Good Friday and Easter Monday are not working days and the postman does not call. So the last working day is actually the 16th due to the bank holidays. Your order will be delivered by Royal Mail, who are currently running at 80% staff, in the next couple of days. Yours sincerely, The BatteryStation.co.uk Customer Service Team.

I would like to give this company a zero rating but I can't. The order didn't arrive despite receiving an email that it had been despatched a week ago. The tracker doesn't work because it doesn't recognise my email address and nor can I contact the company for the same reason. Odd that they're able to contact me via email but not the other way. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY

Dear Customer, When you ordered, you actively selected our economy shipping method which advertised 3-5 working days. You ordered on the 6th of April very late in the day and you paid £1.75 for economy shipping. Your order was collected by Royal Mail on the 7th April. The last working day for delivery based on the method you chose is tomorrow on the 14th April. However today and Good Friday were both bank holidays. We placed a very large notice on our checkout page above the shipping methods informing our customers about delays at Royal Mail. Royal Mail are currently running at 80% staff and have very high volumes. We value your business but I must say I'm surprised at the lack of understanding of the current situation. We've picked and packed your order on time, and been very transparent with all communication. If time was of the essence, you could have opted to pay for a Next Day delivery. Yours sincerely, The BatteryStation.co.uk Customer Service Team

I've ordered some batteries and received the request for this review, but am still waiting for the batteries to arrive. This request seems a bit presumptuous Maybe after they arrive I'll be able to give a review

Hi Alison, There is still time for your order to be delivered. Although normally times are much faster, our economy shipping is sold as a 3-5 working day service. Both Good Friday and Easter Monday are bank holidays and there are clearly obvious delays right now due to the Covid 19 situation with 20% of Royal Mail staff off. Your order was placed at 7pm on the 5th April. We picked and packed it on the 6th and it was collected by Royal Mail on the morning of the 7th. They are currently collecting in the mornings as they do not have the staff to do evening deliveries. The last working day for your delivery would be the 14th April but both Good Friday and Easter Monday are bank holidays. We have been as transparent as possible and provide a very large notice on our checkout page to advise. Your order should be with you in the next couple of days. I'm sorry the review invitation arrived beforehand. It's automated and to reiterate under normal operating conditions it your order would have arrived days ago. Yours sincerely, The BatteryStation.co.uk Customer Service Team

Hi Lewis, Unfortunately Royal Mail have been experiencing significant delays with 2nd class mail taking a week or slightly over. We have seen some orders from the 1st of April only just getting delivered now. Please allow a couple of days for this to arrive and if you still haven't received it, let us know. We are seeing the vast majority of these delayed consignments progressing to delivery. This is of course due to precautionary staff isolation at Royal Mail which results in reduced capacity, yet volumes at present have resulted in much higher demand. Kind Regards, The BatteryStation.co.uk Customer Service Team

Dear John, We're very sorry to hear your order has not been delivered and this seems to have been lost by Hermes. We haven't heard from you before now and we would have resolved the issue had we been given a chance to. We have now refunded your order in full and we will pursue a claim with Hermes. Kind Regards, The BatteryStation.co.uk Customer Service Team

Hi Michael, We're sorry to hear your order wasn't delivered or left in a safe place as instructed. It is on it's way back to us now. With the non-contact delivery currently taking place, it's proving challenging at times for delivery drivers. I have refunded you in full for your order and hope that you will try again with us in the future. Kind Regards, The BatteryStation.co.uk Customer Service Team

Hi Judith, When ordering you selected our economy shipping which is 3-5 working days. Tomorrow would be the last working day for delivery under normal circumstances. At present however, Royal Mail are experiencing delays due to staff shortages due to precautionary staff isolation. Your order should be with you in the next day or 2. Unable to review the product as it never arrived! An email stated the item had been delivered and was also tracked as having been delivered. No van arrived, no knock at the door and no parcel after of searching outside. I emailed Battery Station and was informed DPD were very reliable and I should check outside but they would refund the money. Very annoyed as it was batteries for a noisy smoke alarm and I had paid extra for speedy delivery, also the implication that it was my fault. I then went to another site and reordered successfully.

Despite being ordered on 27 March and apparently despatched the same day , these are a no show. Still awaiting delivery. Tracking tells me that as of 04 April "Your parcel is being held in our DPD depot". These are very small button batteries and would have been best sent by Royal Mail. DPD are worse than useless.

Hi Mike, We're very sorry about this and quite stumped as to why this is sat there. We have spoken to you on the phone today and then made adjustments to the delivery with DPD so hopefully this will be on the move and delivered early next week. There are a number of delays at present due to the current situation with Covid however that doesn't actually explain what has happened here. Kind Regards, The BatteryStation.co.uk Customer Service Team

Really disappointed with the whole experience. Website advertised “packs” of batteries but no mention of how many batteries in a pack. I ordered 2 “packs” for £20 plus delivery. I was disappointed when my order was delivered to find only 1 battery in a pack. Misleading website. Avoid.

Dear Barry, That is complete and utter rubbish. Here is a link to the product you bought: https://www.batterystation.co.uk/xtar-18650-3-6v-3-7v-led-flashlight-3500mah-rechargeable-battery-1-pack/ The title of the product is: Xtar 18650 3.6V/3.7V LED Flashlight 3500mAh Rechargeable Battery | 1 Pack The photo of the image shows 1 battery At what stage would you think there would be more than 1 battery in the item? We haven't misled you anywhere. The product name, the product photo all are 1. This is quite frankly a ridiculous claim. Yours sincerely, The BatteryStation.co.uk Customer Service Team.

Dear Eric, We are aware of delays in deliveries at present due to staff absences at the courier networks alongside significant increased demand. Your order was collected earlier this week and will be delivered in the next dew days. It is still within the 3-5 working days timeframe of the economy shipping method you selected. Kind Regards, Jamie.

Dear Customer, We're glad the products and website experience was good and sorry to hear about the delivery. Things are quite bad right now with a lot of courier staff off, and high demand on the networks. This is not the normal situation and I hope that you will consider us again in the future. As of 6:30pm on the 31st of March 2020 the order has not been received. I have deferred making a complaint in view of thee current coronavirus outbreak which might have delayed delivery. -Past dealings with this company babe been good.

Hi John, As your order was placed after 4pm on the 24th March, it was picked and packed on the 25th of March. Unfortunately due to staff shortages with self isolation, Royal Mail are now collecting on the morning of the next working day. So your order was collected around 10am on the 26th March. The delivery time on the economy shipping is 3-5 working days and while 2nd class mail is usually on day 2, at present there is huge demand on the network. From what I'm seeing at present I would expect your order to arrive on April 2nd or at the latest on the 3rd. Sorry for the inconvenienced caused, and things at this moment are largely out of our control. Kind Regards, The BatteryStation.co.uk Customer Service Team.

Hi John, I'm sorry you had a problem entering the address. We haven't had any issues with this so I'm going to try to look at what went wrong. Normally if this happens it is because of browser auto-complete which we have no control over. We only have one address on the order for you which is shipping and billing. As the shipping address is the first address entered on the checkout, this would be the one you entered. I'm not sure how it got changed after that. Kind Regards, The BatteryStation.co.uk Customer Service Team

Not sure it is your fault but DPD let you down. I was told the delivery would be between 12 and 1. Went on to DPD tracking and saw that my item had been delivered and I had signed for it. Totally untrue! I contacted DPD and they eventually said that the driver had delivered to the wrong address and I would receive it later in the day. Totally untrue, was never received . How can a driver say they delivered the item and got my signature when they did not? As the item was only about £5 I can't be bothered to take the matter further but you really need to think about using DPD especially if they make false claims. I couldn't believe that their call centre didn't think it a problem that the driver admitted that he had gone to the wrong address and also got my signature!

Hi Colin, They are normally very reliable. It doesn't matter about not wanting to take it further. We will send this item out to you again, tomorrow. We'll follow up with DPD on this to arrange a claim. Sorry for the inconvenience here. Kind Regards, The BatteryStation.co.uk Customer Service Team
