Delivery fine, packaging fine, however I ordered a box of 24 AA batteries however what came was those (bargain packs) three of them with four+four free the only ones benefiting from the four free was battery Station. If I buy a box of, I expect a box of. Personally I wonder if the quality of those packs with the offers are a lower standard of cell.

Hi David, We can't always get the boxes due to availability and we are able to purchase the promo packs for the same price per cell. Contrary to the suggestion that the cells are of lower quality, they would potentially last slightly longer. As you would be opening them pack by pack, the unused packs would not be exposed to the air and therefore protected from moisture. Please be assured that these are exactly the same batteries. the item costed me three time when delivered. When an item is so small, the delivery should not cost more than 50% of its price, not two times its price! Maybe it should be sent by mail, instead of Courier.

Hi Maria, Our shipping costs are set based on what they cost us. Royal Mail and our couriers do not make special allowances for us and charge us really low amounts, just because the item we send is low in value. Furthermore we show the shipping cost on the delivery page, the cart page and the checkout a long time before any information is requested. Photo of sellers product showed battery to be and written on as CR232H. When received it was CR232- the H means higher power capacity. 20mil amp more. Also expiry date 2024. Should be nearer to 10 year shelf life. Showing these are several years old new stock.

Hi Leon, We don't sell any battery which is a CR232 at all, and having looked at your order, you actually ordered and Energizer Pro Charger | Inc 4 x AA 2000mAh Rechargeable Batteries. Took an age to arrive I phoned them and the girl at the other end of the phone told me they would have to be delivered by Currier because you’re not allowed to deliver batteries by Royal by Royal mail I turned up the next day by my regular postman!!

Battery Station dispatched the order very promptly but DPD failed to deliver on 2 separate occasions. This order was urgent and in future I will use another supplier which does not use DPD. Sorry Battery Station. You did your but DPD let you down.

Hi Jane, Please accept our apologies for the 24 delay in your order arriving at the delivery shop. DPD are an excellent courier and like ALL couriers in the UK at present, their delivery targets are suspended due to Covid-19. This is not an excuse and is because staff that have even slight symptoms of normal day-to-day colds, are required to self-isolate. Furthermore, sorting spaces in certain depots are vastly reduced due to required social distancing. Recently bought batteries from Battery Station - unfortunately I ordered the wrong size (not sure how). When i tried to return i got lost in a loop on the website and couldn't understand the instructions - gave up!

Hi Michael, We're not really sure what the problem was with wanting to do a return. There isn't really anything which would put you in a loop. You either complete the form on our contact us page, or click on the email address and send us an email. There is no process to go through, simply sending us a message. Battery Station were quick off the mark with packing and despatching, but the goods arrived with all the individual cartons crushed and the batteries loose in the mailing bag. Also one carton had clearly been opened and resealed using packing tape - not good. Also let down by Hermes who didn't deliver when they said they were going to, citing the pandemic as a reason. I wonder what the excuse will be when the pandemic is over?

Dear Customer, We're very sorry to hear about the condition your order arrived in. We don't send anything out that is taped up so this damage must have taken place during transit, and Hermes must have tried to salvage it. The issue with Hermes at the moment is that they are short staffed due to revolving self-isolation. Very mild stuff that staff would normally still attend work, is now classified as stay at home. So anyone with a cold or anything, is staying at home. Furthermore they do have huge demand on their network. Once again sorry for the inconvenience. HI Emmet, I was concerned reading your review so I have investigated. You did enter your address in Scotland as the billing address, and your address in London as the delivery address. Labels in our warehouse are created automatically so the label was automatically created from your delivery address which was in London. We have screen shots of your order, and logs to support this and would be happy to provide them to you. In this case, we did everything we needed to and dispatched the items to the correct address and unfortunately, this was solely down to user error at the time of ordering. Not happy the batts I ordered were not fully charged? So I had to buy some more from elsewhere that did work.

Hi Kyle, These LR41 batteries you purchased are not rechargeable. They are low power batteries used in thermometers. The devices are designed to be used seldomly and with the extreme use that thermometers are seeing at the moment, many are only last a few days between batteries. We have had no other complaints about this product and no recalls on the batch at all. I believe the batteries simply ran out due to high usage. Hermes replaced some of their scanning equipment in their Manchester depot around June 1st and this seems to have caused a huge issue with delayed parcels. Left this adaptor with the included batteries plugged in overnight and in morning the charger smelt of burning and the batteries were extremely hot. Ended up using an old charger instead of this one.

I have no way of checking, but I thought ordered an R2032 battery for my weighing scale. The battery I received was 1216 which is too small

Hi Pat, You ordered an Energizer CR1216 battery which the same battery we sent you. There hasn't been any packing mistake here at all.
