its not the money its the principle.my order did not arrive.left a message on web page, no answersent a e mail to say package cannot be delivered as sender did not pay postage,no answer,.i had to send royal mail £2 to get it.then phoned ,your opperator said she would sort it.not one answer to all my messages where is my refund????????

Dear Mr Hazelwood, Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience that this has caused you. We had an issue with a roll of franking labels which seemed to have a weak adhesive on them. We had a batch of mail where some of the labels literally peeled off the poly bags which we use. We received an email from you on the 20th Sept and we replied to you (ticket 3578) but did not hear from you again. At this stage, we were unaware of the issue with the franking stationery. We heard from you again on the 21st chasing the whereabouts of your order and we contacted you again explaining that it may have gone missing, and asked if you would like us to re-dispatch it or give you a full refund. We didn't hear back from you. We only actually heard from you again yesterday advising of the problem with the postage at the same time you left your review. We would be more than happy to speak to you regarding the issue in more detail but we haven't heard back from you. We have proactively refunded the shipping charge on your order to cover the £2 you had to pay to Royal Mail. We apologise fully for this issue and assure you that we do take customer service very seriously. I had logged in in the but the website did not recognise my details. So logged in as a new client. Delivery was stated as a maximum of 4 days ( I wanted the batteries for the weekend as my grandchildren were coming to stay) Unfortunately the batteries arrived in 11 days from order far to late. To compound the late delivery I had to go to the local GPO sorting office to collect the package as no postage stamps were put on the parcel I had to pay to collect.

Dear Mr Maas, We are very sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment caused by the lack of postage applied to the shipping. Around the date of your order, we used a roll of franking labels which seemed to have a low quality adhesive on them. We're not quite sure exactly what happened but it seems a number of orders dispatched during the time the roll was in use, simply lost their postage. We believe the weak labels peeled off the poly bags. Unfortunately in this case, the Post Office only notify the recipient and not the sender so we didn't know anything was wrong until we heard from you. We couldn't take any action until we had heard from you. We have since spoken to you to apologise and we have of course refunded your shipping. I can only reassure you that this is a somewhat odd situation we haven't encountered and we've physically checked our postage stationery since, which all seems to be fine. First my order wasn't dispatched for 10 days until I called in to ask why, then didn't have my call returned on the same issue so called a few days later and managed to get them sent out. Then when they finally arrived I had been sent a lesser item than ordered and simply had the details changed with a pen on my receipt - nice. Finally when complaining about having received a cheaper item than paid for, no-one ever got back to me and have still not received the batteries I actually paid for.

Dear Customer, (Name withheld to respect privacy). We're very sorry about all this inconvenience with your order. This is not how we want to introduce customers to BatteryStation.co.uk. Initially, there was a held put on your payment information due to the payment not passing 3D Secure and through our own fault, it wasn't manually looked at until you contacted us. At this time, the shipping was refunded. With regard to the incorrect items, we were advised by our warehouse that the products you ordered were 2400mAh versions when they were actually the 1950mAh ones. The line was mixed between 1950mAh and 2400mAh. This has happened to a few customers and we're quite embarrassed about this. We have taken action against a member of staff who simply crossed out the capacity and scribbled on the higher capacity instead of bringing it to management's attention. I have personally followed your case and I'm aware that on this occasion we have dispatched 3 of the newer 2500mAh versions which is Duracell's latest product. We do not require the 1950mAh batteries back which you may keep as well. Once again we're sorry for these problems and steps have been taken at our end to prevent such events from occurring again. I ordered 6 3.6 volt batteries on 17 August. When they arrived they measured about 3.2 volts. Thus they are useless. You promised me replacements ASAP. They have not arrived despite promises from your CS. I will write to your MD if they are not here in 48 hours.

I was sent a dead battery which I duly returned and was told I would get a refund. Three weeks later I am still waiting for the refund.

Dear Mr Denny, After reading your review, we have searched through all our tickets, and the inbound email log on the server, as well as phone records through our IVR, and we have absolutely no record of any attempt to contact us from the contact details you provided when placing the order. Our email system and ticket system allows us to search by email address, and our phone system logs calls inbound and outbound by number. We have received no return to the warehouse and we follow a strict RMA procedure to ensure that each and every return is allocated to the original order so a refund can be made. We have refunded your order today, and will be contacting you to start an investigation into what has happened. The product which you received dead has a 10 year shelf life from manufacture and it is virtually unheard of for it not to work. We do need to investigate this. 1 my order was duplicated and despite 3phone calls I was given no help as to how I had to return them. The carrier company insisted they needed a bar code before dealing with it and you r company didn't know how to generate one.my only option was to use the GPO at the cost of £2.75 I have put a letter in the parcel asking for a refund and await this in due course.

Dear Customer, I have looked into this case before replying to ensure I had accurate information on what has happened. Your order was indeed duplicate, but this was not an error on our system. Two separate orders were placed with completely separate website sessions and different order numbers. I believe you contacted DPD directly to try and arrange to deliver the item and they said that you would need a consignment number/tracking number to arrange a collection. At that stage you contacted us. We offered you advice on how to return the item using a variety of courier methods available. You then returned the stock to us. We eventually received the stock which was allocated Thursday/Friday and the refund for the returned items was processed immediately. Dear Mr Skiba, We contacted you today to request further information about the problem you had with your order as we had not heard from you prior to your review. You explained that you were missing some AAs and AAAs from the order, yet on the order itself, it did not contain those batteries whatsoever. In fact, the order only contained Energizer CR2032 coin cell batteries. This is what was ordered on our website, what you were charged for, and what was delivered to you. You explained that your wife made the order and that you will get her to call us as she may not have put them on the order. When something goes wrong with an order at BatteryStation.co.uk, we do everything we can to resolve it in favour of our customers, yet there has not been any mistake at all at our end in this case, and your single star review is very unfair, and completely untrue. Dear Mr Shack, I waited to investigate this a little before replying to your review. We have be in contact with you directly to resolve this in the meantime. We contacted the couriers and they said that delivery had been refused twice, and you took the effort of asking the other businesses on the business park if they had been visited by the courier, which they had not. So we are in the process of trying to find out what has happened with this, and whether or not there was a mix-up with the address. I can only apologize for the inconvenience and assure you that we do investigate all of these problems to prevent them from happening again. We pursue each and every courier issue without exception. In this instance I am aware that we have refunded you in full and we're trying to locate the consignment to have it returned to us. We received an email from you on the same day this review was posted, and we contacted you promptly when our offices opened on Monday morning as when you left the review, it was Sunday and we were closed. We immediately took the issue up with the courier in question, Hermes, who claimed to have posted the item to you. This is not true and we have asked Hermes to investigate this matter and file a claim. In the meantime, we have dispatched a replacement order to you. We have a very low incidence of orders which go missing during transit and we investigate each and every one. Occasionally it does happen though. Although the totals and the VAT were completely correct on our invoices, the line totals were showing the price excluding VAT. I reiterate, the totals were correct. I have already contacted your company twice in the last three days because the goods have still not been delivered although I have a e-mail to say they left 10 days ago and all you get from your sales staff is " we will get back to you" and guess what , they never do.

Never got the battery. He came I was out, he didnt leave it and inever got t. I Said send it to Vamos post office but you just ignored my request, its not as if it was worth much. Your system is crap. Dave Cromack

Dear Mr Cromack, I'm sorry that you did not receive your order. I think there is however some misunderstanding about how the order was delivered and any delivery attempt. We sent your order of 2 packs of Ansmann Solar Light batteries by Royal Mail. It was not sent by a courier. The postman tried to deliver when you were out. I presume you know this because a card was left. On the card would have been details about how to arrange re-delivery or where to collect the item from. This arrangement is made between you and Royal Mail. We do not see your instructions, they do not come to us. As I'm sure you are aware, we do not have the means to contact your postman individually or Royal Mail to request to leave your parcel at 'Vamos Post Office'. This is nothing to do with our system but your own misunderstanding of the basic postal system, where a card is left and the steps following. So I strongly reject your claim that our system is 'crap'. We have refunded your order on PayPal in full and I hope we get the goods returned in the post to us as undeliverable, so that we do not lose out financially due to your misunderstanding. I paid for next day delivery. I received two e mails confirming this on the day of order. The next day (delivery day) I received an e mail saying delivery would not be that day. Since I would not be there the rest of the week this made the whole purchase a waste.

We're not quite sure why our courier emailed you to advise that delivery would not be that day. Occasionally this does occur albeit very rarely. If you had brought this to our attention at the time, which was 15th July 2015 (2 months ago), we could have rectified the situation in a number of ways.
