“The fact my delivery arrived within the week was I think very lucky and actually down to the fact the parcel could be left with a neighbour. The poorer standard of service than I thought I could have expected from Barnitts (which is a York gem), started with the website, where I could find no information about delivery times, or expectations. Had the parcel not been left with my neighbour I would not have known in advance where to collect from. If the courier had been Royal Mail it would have been easy for me. But what I really wanted, was to click & collect from the store (Acomb or town) but this was not an option. Please improve the website, it's lacking a lot in giving Customer Confidence compared to most sites these days. Bring yourselves up to the standards us York folk are used to expecting from the otherwise excellent Barnitts. The package itself is a Christmas gift.”
