“Jack made the holiday stress free. All we had to do was turn up at the airport and start our holiday. Definitely use Balkan Escapes again as they were so helpful and professional.”

“I had never used Balkan Escapes before but as the reviews were great, I booked a 13 night 4-centre holiday to Croatia with them. They were so helpful in helping me decide which places to visit then put together an itinerary which was fantastic. Very reasonable prices and the best customer service. I would recommend this company and would not hesitate to book with them again.”

“We felt all our holiday requirements were met.We chose 2 different types of hotels. One fairly large hotel right on the promenade, our second one only 7 rooms. Sea view.With fabulous customer care. The organising of our holiday by Balkan Escape was faultless.Transfers between hotels were all on time and great drivers. I don’t think we would expect anything more from Balkan Escape they were brilliant 🤩 Can’t wait to use them again.”

“A perfectly arranged holiday in every way. Airport transfers were exceptionally good and the hotels well located, and provided excellent services. We think you slightly underestimated walking times between hotels and ferry terminals but arranging cabs was easy to do. Only downside of that was being charged 50 euros for the trip from Split port to our hotel. We thought that extortionate. Balkan Escape did a brilliant job of arranging our holiday, providing support and information. We would not hesitate to use them again and strongly recommend them to anyone looking to holiday in beautiful Croatia.”

“From an initial enquiry Jack built a holiday schedule around the places (x3 in 7 days) that we wanted to visit in Croatia. Jack was extremely patient as we posed questions and explored various options. So well planned from the beginning using Jacks expertise, we actually stuck with the initial plan just having to make an informed decision on the three hotel options provided for each of our three destinations. The private transfers to and from the airport along with the boat transfers between the island and mainland ran very smoothly. I would highly recommend Balkan Escape - flexible, friendly, knowledgeable, thorough and patient. Thank you.”

“Balkan Escape did a fantastic job in organising our trip to Dubrovnik and Split. They were very responsive to changes we had to make and booked the flights, hotel in Dubrovnik and apartment within the walled place in Split as well as the transfer to and from the airport and ferry from Dubrovnik to Split. Everything worked like clockwork. A special thank you to Heather Pfeiffer, who came up with our itinerary and suggested the hotel and apartment. Because we had to delay our departure by 10 days, she quickly rearranged our itinerary. She also provided some very useful suggestion activity suggestions for the various places. I would no hesitation in using Balkan Escape again and would recommend them highly.”

“We were delighted with the service provided by Balkan Escape. We went on a 16 night holiday in Croatia, staying at five different locations. Balkan Escape listened to our thoughts on what we wanted to do, and booked the holiday that exactly matched our requirements. All bookings of flights, hotels, transfers and ferries worked out without a hitch. They also provided excellent advice on trips, use of taxis and other questions, all of which demonstrated a thorough understanding of the tourist market in Croatia. “The booking process was good - they were able to arrange a different flight from the usual schedule which made a big difference to us. Communication was good, although some emails went to spam so I didn’t always realise that - so always worth checking. All the hotels were nice and the transfers worked perfectly. We chose not to hire a car and use transfers instead so they took us all over the place. I know it’s unusual not to have a car at Plitvice Lakes but it was doable. The bus service spoken about in the official Plitvice Lakes websites does not support local services but we did use a taxi in one occasion. Our hotel was a little bit of a trek from the park in foot so if you decide to choose not to have a car request a hotel closer if possible. Overall we very much enjoyed the trip and valued the services and information provided by Balkan Escape. Thanks Jack for supporting us.”

“We have just arrived back from a 3-centre holiday in Croatia (Zadar, Split and Brac) organised by Balkan Escape. The service was excellent from beginning to end. Balkan Escape helped us choose the locations, organised all the accommodation and arranged the transfers. They really looked after us in all aspects of the holiday planning, even keeping us informed of last-minute changes in our flight timing and schedule. We had a fantastic time and really valued the local knowledge and experience provided by Balkan Escape. “Wow, what an amazing holiday we had in a beautiful Country. I would like to thank the team at Balkan Escapes for putting the package together for us. We stayed in Split, Hvar and Korcula.
