Dear Thorsten, Thank you for taking the time to review - we can see that you ordered a Bowron lambskin rug which is usually very well received. Having checked all our emails we can't find anything from you regarding your order and it hasn't been returned to us as unsatisfactory. We would love to know exactly what the problem is with your order, we want our customers to be 100% happy and if you don't love the lambskin please do let us know and we can perhaps talk you through some alternative choices or offer a full refund.

“I loved the quality and feel of the booties. Unfortunately I had to return them as they were too narrow. My little boy has just turned 1 year and I got the size 18-24 months but they still couldn’t fit. Having Velcro fastening may have helped. I also got the slightly different booties to what I’ve ordered (I ordered sock booties but got plain booties though I didn’t mind if they fitted). Having to pay for the returns was also a shame as I ended up paying £7-8 for postage and no booties.”

“Mittens come in a lovely bag and are perfect for my little one. They need to be on a string to ensure we don’t lose them. The string was not attached very well and now we can’t use them until we have sewn it back together.”

“Really pleased with the product - quick delivery. But abit disappointed by the packaging as it was a gift for a baby shower. Last one we ordered came in a nice box this one was just in a plastic type bag.”

Thank you so much for taking the time to place a review and so pleased you are happy with the FLATOUT Bear Rug. All of the FLATOUT products are delivered in the packaging direct from the manufacturer along with our own paper packaging through the post. I am so sorry you were not delighted with the way this is packaged - we do have a gift boxing service but can see from your order that this wasn't selected. We have just tried to check your previous order to see what the difference might be as FLATOUT rugs have always been packaged the same way. We can't however find a previous order under your account - perhaps this was with a different email account ? “I purchased the latte pram Fur liner for my friends baby shower gift and she absolutely loved it. Amazing quality. Also the packaging / box was lovely too and perfect for a memory box. Thank you”

“Product is really good when arrived and felt very good quality .only when I had to wash it because of baby’s milk fell on it I noticed it changed in texture (not soft anymore) and it shrank. I washed it by hand with lanoline detergent so no harsh wash . That’s the only thing that disappoints”

Thank you for taking the time to post a review and we are so sorry you have had a problem when washing the sheepskin. Shrinkage and a change in texture are due to too much heat in either the washing or drying process. You may be able to alleviate this a little by 'working' the sheepskin leather back and forth over a sharp edge such as a table or worktop. This will start to loosen and flex the leather a little and in turn also the fleece. A good brushing will also loosen the fleece for some improvement in the texture. I hope this helps with bringing some of the original texture and softness back for you.

“Gorgeous mittens but the first time on my granddaughter pulled the string and it unattached itself from the mitten . I have had to sit and try to repair it today . Hopefully this will have sorted it and would hate for one to get lost”

“Lovely and soft, however lots of loose strands (not great for baby who gets it in mouth). I've brushed to remove as much as possible, but still finding lots stuck to baby. Maybe washing will help”

“The service from Baa Baby was good. I had a very quick response when querying my order which was great. The reason my score is lower than it might have been is that the package itself arrived in quite poor condition. It was very battered and the sheepskin inside had acquired some deep folds which is a shame as it spoils the overall look and feel of what is a nice product. As this item was bought as a present it is particularly disappointing. I think these will eventually come out which is why I am not going to the hassle of returning the item. Whether this happened in storage at Baa Baby or when being delivered by the Royal Mail, it probably could have been avoided by more effective packaging.”

Thank you for taking the time to post a review and we are so sorry that you are in any way disappointed with your purchase. Customer satisfaction is our top priority. The Bowron sheepskin is folded at the manufacturers to fit in the packaging - it is very difficult to ship a sheepskin flat to customers so I’m afraid they do all have to be folded. Please be reassured that any folds will soon drop out and a good brushing will hasten this process. “I was diapointed with the quality of the fleece, not luxuries, and will not give it as a gift to my daughter, will keep it for the carry cot I have. It's Christmas and I don't have the energy to return it. I realise there is always a risk ordering on line without actually seing it, feeling it.... etc”

“Colour not exactly like pictured. More starched feeling than soft. My baby is 11 month old and didn’t fit into the 12-18 month gloves.”

We are so sorry that you are unhappy with the mittens. Having looked at your order I can see that the mittens you have are more of a leather than suede feel to the outer. We would be more than happy to refund or exchange them for you
