How do you clean the Bowron sheepskin liner for the stroller?

The Bowron liner can be hand washed in cool water with specialist sheepskin shampoo (needs to contain lanolin) . Most of the time you shouldn’t need to however - just a stiff brush once any stains are dry and spot cleaning and marks

Hi I have just received the Pram liner (order no 8852) although it is lovely I am concerned about the amount of hair it is shedding (a handful) as this is for a new born? Kind regards Pauline Sales

Hello, Thank you for your question. The lambskin can sometimes shed around the edges where it has been cut. There won’t be any further shedding once the loose hairs are removed -it’s a little kilt trying to pull your own hair out ! We can also send you one of our wire brushes if you’d like to use that to give a thorough brushing Best wishes Helen

Hi, how are the white sheep skins achieved? Is there bleach or an additional chemical process used? I am specifically interested in the white bassinet liner but wanted to know if the chemical process is any different to the natural one. Thanks.

Hello, All of the lambskins are a honey type colour after the tanning process. To achieve a white, grey or latte colours which stock then an additional process is required. Dependent on where the lambskin comes from then slightly different processes are used however they are all baby safe/medical grade lambskins and compliant with the OEKO-TEX 100 standard. The only way to avoid any sort of additional process is to opt for a honey type colour I'm afraid as this is the natural colour of ecotanned lambskin.

Thank you for your question - the liners are all slightly differently styled so they don't look the same but will all do the same job. For the carrycot stage we normally recommend a bassinet liner but at the next stage the pram liners would be a good choice as they will also fit in a car seat if needed too and have shaping and slots for straps The two most popular styles are the Bowron liner and the Baa Baby All Style. We do have an iCandy peach here in the office so we will send over a couple of photos to you on Monday morning so that you an see how the different styles look on this model :)
