I ordered a Beyerdynamic Amiron headphone wired which was discontinued but still readily available as a wireless version.The wired version proved difficult to get and several suppliers advertised that they had got it only to tell me that they really hadn't got it and couldn't get it after I had ordered if. So I was very happy to see last wired version still available with this company.i then ordered it and was told it had been despatched.i duly received it and duly opened it only to find that it was a wireless version.It was a big disappointment as I don't like or want a wireless headphone and I had the trouble of repacking it and waiting in for some body to collect it. First of all I wonder why it was advertised when they had not got it although,to be fair they were not alone in this.But,more importantly,why was the wrong headphone sent out without sending me an e mail to ask if I wanted a wireless headphone before it was actually sent out. Overall a poor unnecessary time wasting experience.

Having looked into the issue I can see that our stock system had been incorrectly listed, and showed the wired version as being in stock, and we of course sent you the wireless version in error - our sincerest apologies for this Robert and of course the additional inconvenience of having to have the wrong item collected from you. I’m sure they are great for high end hi-fi in store but I just wanted an essential accessory for an install - chose next day delivery as they made a big deal about it on their site - what they should have said was next day delivery after we’ve sorted out the order which in my case is a week and still no item. They did call after 4 days and advise that it would be another 4 days but it’s misleading at best. The fact they are asking for a review before the item has even shipped should tell you something about how organised they are. Needless to say turntable still isn’t installed.

Hello Mark and thank you for your review. Apologies for the delay you have experienced on this occasion. We aim to be able to fulfill and dispatch our orders as quickly as possible and as advertised. Unfortunately we experienced an unexpected issue with availability from the manufacturer. Prior to contacting you with an update about this we were working to communicate with them to find a solution. The manufacturer advised that they have stopped production of the item however we were successful in negotiating a one off piece to be produced for you. We see the item has now been delivered, please accept our apologies again for the inconvenience this has caused with your install.
