“Im always sceptical when ordering plants online. Have had some disappointing orders not from ashwood might i add. Had no choice but to order online when i couldnt track down a particular plant. I neednt have worried it was delivered literally two days after i placed my order and i was equally impressed with the size!! Would definately order from ashwood again!”

“My Hepaticas came well packaged, looking healthy and in a good physical condition. They came with comprehensive growing instructions including recommendations for a compost mix if grown indoors, the best garden position if grown outdoors and the optimum amount of light and shade that the plants prefer. Postage was quite expensive but at least it meant that the plants did not deteriorate during a cheap but lengthy postal journey although the courier driver ignored instructions and dumped them on a hot sunny doorstep.”

“The tidiest most organized well laid out nursery I have been to. I've just had five hepaticas on mail order great packing the correct varieties good plants actually great plants and a really low fixed postage charge no matter how many plants are in the order. I first visited about 20 years ago to choose hellebores and Hardy cyclamen but over the years I have had alpine's and and all sorts of from them, Highly recommended. PS I forgot the cakes are great as well wonderful about as good as the plants”

“I recently ordered three Hellebore. Wanted something more interesting than available in local garden centre. They arrived very promptly, packaged extremely well. Clear instruction how to open the box. Had extensive root system which was easy to tease out. Showed no sign of stress and am absolutely delighted with each one. Thank you Ashwood Nurseries.”

“I had been looking to purchase a Wildfire Clematis having been unable to source anywhere else. Ashwood Nurseries had one in stock and as they're not local to me, I purchased online. I ordered Sunday, Clematis was despatched within 48 hours and delivered following day. Very pleased with the Clematis quality, well packaged with great communication throughout.
