“Really pleased I purchased this product. My midwife arranged a loan of one for me for a few days, it was very easy to use and I got a good amount very quickly. I only express occasionally so initially I had just intended to use a manual pump from a different manufacturer as I had with my first baby. I soon realised with a toddler being in tow every minute is valuable. So the time saved with double electric pumping has been well worth it. Also bonus of closed system is great piece of mind and means I can pass on th pump to a friend when I breast feeding journey eventually comes to an end.”

“This pump is great, it has allowed me to continue feeding my little girl my breast milk even when feeding her was too painful. It’s quiet and efficient even when using both pumps. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a Breastpump.”

“great breast pump. after problems dealing with medela and purchasing the double electric... stay away from that product. shocking. purchased the calypso about 2 months ago so far ok. apart from it turning off after a certain time period its preety good.”

“Brilliant service and products. I collected the hired hospital grade Carum pump to increase my very low supply. I was shown exactly how to use it and had a practice so the very helpful lady could confirm if I needed different size breatshells. The team were very welcoming. The pump itself was fantastic - very quiet but powerful and with the independently variable speed and suction, I could get pumping very comfortably. When I longer needed the Carum, the returns process was very simple. Due to the fantastic experience with the Carum, I decided to purchase the Calypso pump to enable me to pump every now and again as needed. I was going to purchase the double until the team told me I only needed the single since I already had a second pump set from the Carum, which saved me some money. I’d recommend the Calypso pump as unlike other smaller non-hospital grade pumps on the market, the speed and suction are independently variable which makes for much more comfortable pumping. It’s obviously not as powerful as the hospital grade Carum but it still pumps very well. It’s also extremely reasonably priced, especially when you compare it to other double pumps on the market. I’d thoroughly recommend the Ardo products and the fab customer service too. Thank you!”

“Have the calypso double electric pump. I exclusively pump so use it up to 8 times a day. It is easy to use and is comfortable. Happy with the pump. My main problem is that I need to replace parts every 2-3 weeks and these are really expensive and to top it off I have to pay almost £4 postage each time!!! I would of thought when you spend this much money on a pump the parts would last longer and there should be free delivery over a minimum spend level”

Hi Katie , we are sorry to hear about your issue with the spare parts, however, you should not need to change them every 2 or 3 weeks even if you are exclusively expressing. We would like to try and establish what the issue is. We cannot find the order on the system for the pump only the spare parts, did you buy it direct from us? “Had to stop using it as just made me massively engorged and sore. Shame as could have done without wasting £139 just after having a premature baby.”

Hi Samantha, we are sorry to read your review. We cannot, however, find on our customer service system that you contacted us to discuss the issues. The order for the pump is also not on our system, only a pair the 22 inserts? If you would like to give us a call we would be happy to help resolve the issues.

“The pump is so much mire effective than the leading product out there (Medela) and the people at Ardo are so helpful, always available to answer questions and made returning the pump so easy. I will definitely tell my friends to rent one of these before buying a breast pump.”

“I'm using the Ardo pump to keep my milk supply going while helping my son learn to breastfeed. He spent his first three weeks in two different hospitals and also had a tight tongue tie (now snipped) which meant we were unable to breastfeed at the start. I have a tommee tippee electric pump at home but the Ardo one is so much faster and quieter, plus I can double pump. I've been expressing for two months and hope to be able to breastfeed my son properly soon.”
