“APC emailed to inform me that a delivery (of critical chemicals for my company) was due to be delivered the next day. Waited in all day tracking the consignment but it appeared to never update correctly. After our usual working hours with no show from the driver, we left. Messaged the depot, called the depot, no answer - discovered by chance that the parcel was being edelivered some days later. Still no chemicals - its been a week now and no tracking information, no answer on the numbers given - awful awful service from a company claiming to deliver overnight.”

“I'm disabled, on two walking sticks. I asked delivery driver to place parcel inside doorway to no avail. Driver should have asked my name and enter it on handheld device but did not. Just dumped parcel on doorstep and walked away. Very poor service.”

“Had a message delivery between 13:48 15:58. Then changed too 14:58 1758. At 18:03 on my Tracking stated Delivery rearranged by customer . WHAT not by me....Wasted a complete afternoon and no Package that I promised to a third party. Utterly useless.”

“And I thought Hermes and Yodel were bad but this shower beat them at being useless hands down. Purchased goods on eBay on 4th August and was dispatched the same day. APC said it was delivered on the 5th which it was not and then when I emailed them they said "Oh, that was a mistake" and it would be delivered on 9th Aug 21 which of course it wasn't. We went out today (10th Aug) and returned home around 3.20pm to find £58 worth of parcel just sitting on the doorstep. We live on a main road and anybody could have taken it but as it was 15kg I suspect that was the only reason it was still there. Useless is not a strong enough word for this shower of a company and one wonders how on earth they get away with it day in day out. I would leave 0 or even minus if I could but alas, I cant. Use this company at your peril.”

“After talking to two operators I was told there had been a problem and my package it was at the depot still at 1400 I was promised a next day delivery before 1000am. Never happened and no staff at Thorn would pick up the phone on Saturday truley disappointing as the package was frozen food. WhyPromise a service and not deliver”

“Supposed many attempted deliveries and card left. Didn’t happen as destination was a mailbox store open to public and on a main road. Emailed them. No reply. Contacted company sending products. Said APC would give one more try. Still no delivery. Parcel being returned to sender. I do not believe for one moment that a single delivery was attempted.”

“My parcel was delivered to Rayleigh depot ready for delivery for today 04/08/21. I Was speaking to a lady called Christie as they had no driver to deliver my parcel, I could not believe how helpful she was, A manager took the time to leave what he was doing and deliver the parcel to me himself. That is what I call brilliant and exceptional service.”

“Terrible service!! Was told delivery attempted and calling card left. Driver left nothing , that’s just lazy!! Then rescheduled delivery for following day. Nothing arrived sent an email to depot but no response!! Shocking service. Do not recommend this company.”

“Disgraceful service. Driver left gate for main entrance of a working farm OPEN twice. Driver didn’t fill out reschedule card so not straightforward to organise. 2nd delivery, didn’t even knock- as seen on the cctv or leave a card… just the bloody gate open. One week of chasing a parcel, still no closer! Absolute waste of time- avoid!”

“delivery was meant to come yesterday but it never did. i had family staying at home to wait for it. today it is still not being delivered as they are saying they are not authorised to even though yesterday i saw the driver was 5 mins away from my house with the package. terrible experience. and to top it off they are not helpful on the phone. would recommend anyone else over APC.”

“No sms or e-mail to advise delivery date, therefore no-one in when they delivered and unlike other couriers they need a signature so the parts I am waiting for were taken back. I used the apc-called website to request a redelivery, I was offered Saturday, I’ve wasted all day waiting it is after 5.00pm and nothing has been delivered. Neither the national or local numbers work on a Saturday and the tracking does not show re-delivery details. Appalling system with few of the features of other mainstream companies.”

“They said they attempted to deliver three times but i only received two sms messages from them, i emailed before all this and told them my name and contact number was on the gate with a big APC coloured marking on it - they either are illiterate, never got out of the van or never even turned up. I rang them also midway to see why there was no response to my email and to ask where the package was - someone answered my call and then slammed the phone back down. If you are reading these messages then it is probably to late for you... but companies like this should be closed down and when buying items you should have a choice of which courier service to use for your deliveries!!!”

“Had a text to deliver between 13.05 and 15.05, stayed in and nothing turned up. Give them a call at 17.00 they said won't be delivered today. So a wasted afternoon.”

“I had an email saying you were delivering yesterday and gave me a time. Nothing was delivered. I tracked it and it said it had been delivered. I tried to ring but I got an out of hours message. Before I could ring this morning I got another text saying it was being delivered today between 11.30 and 1.30 .Nothing has been delivered. I rang and I was put on hold for over 40 minutes then it clicked off. Really bad experience. I have contacted the sender and they are going to try and sort it out. They answered their phone on the second ring.”

“3 parcels of live sea fishing baits sent over the past couple of weeks all booked as pre 12.00 the following day all 3 not even delivered the next day 2 parcels 20hrs+ late and the latest one is over 24 hrs late and APC cant redirect it as the depot in Dorest isn't answering its phones "under staffed apparently " TERRIBLE SERVICE BY A FAILING COMPANY now cancelling my contract how are small businesses supposed to get on when with a service like this £300 of losses from 2 fudged delivery's.....well done APC.”

“Parcel delivered (16.5 kg) and delivery driver asked politely by my wife to place the parcel in front porch. He refused and left leaving it standing in driveway. Driver was rude arrogant and not helpful at all. APC used by purchase company to deliver ...I will not be using these myself.”
