“Almost a fake company. Pretended they delivered a package. Don’t respond to emails. They have a a fake “all the lines are busy” message everytime you call that actually just hangs up after telling you that. Staggeringly bad”

“it’s the worst experience i’ve ever had as a customer of anything - for your own sanity, avoid this dreadful company. the next day delivery service took close to three weeks to deliver, and only because i endured hours (yes, hours) on the phone trying to get through to anyone who could help. my parcel had to be sent by the sender twice as the first attempt ended up in them returning the package to the sender. they lied to the sender too.. saying that had “carded and called me multiple times” - there was never any evidence of them attempting to deliver my parcel, no card has been left. the sender accused me of being difficult and nearly charged me for sending the parcel again through this dreadful service. i had emailed them, trying to find out if they had the right address but no one replied to my email.when i finally got through to them, the person on the phone said that the driver “couldn’t find the address “ so instead of contacting me, they decided not to bother. my street is easily found and i have never had anyone tell me that my address is difficult to find. today i spent 1hr and 20 mins on the phone and listening to them telling me to keep waiting as “my phone call is very important to them”. in the end i gave up.. i opened the door and my parcel was there. it was to be delivered much earlier, that’s why i called them. they didn’t even knock.. just dumped the parcel by my door. the only reason why i received my parcel was persistence and two days off wasted waiting for them. i was unable to go out for fear of missing my delivery. they have no respect for their customers. i am so upset writing this. how dare you treat people like this.. There were no updates and the tracking service doesn’t work. this company is the worst company i have ever encountered.”

“Absolute rubbish service from Bolton. They don't turn up. If you pay for an early delivery and they don't meet the time you still have to pay for the extra for the service as "They don't do credits!" One star is one too many”

“I can't believe the astounding level of ineptitude of this courier! If you (APC) read these reviews and want to get in touch, feel free! Booked a collection twice. The first one failed as "Overweight" but the driver didn't even turn up so I rebooked the collection for 2 days later and once again, the driver did not come! 2 days off work - 2 failed collections! Disgusting service from APC As I write, the parcel has STILL NOT BEEN COLLECTED”

“Had a delivery today. Only just heard the knock as the driver didn't use the door bell. When asked why he didn't use it, he said he never uses them!! So the driver doesn't care or understand that people may use door bells because they are hard of hearing and it is attached to a light flasher, or maybe they are elsewhere on the property and door knocks cannot be heard. Or could it possibly be that they just want to get to the next delivery point and don't actually care whether the door is answered or not and just leave the delivery asap? On the other hand, maybe given up with non working door bells and resorted to the knock. Either way, nothing wrong with using both methods is there.”

“Why don't they call customer at door they have mobile number which they use to text customer and say we've attempted del . . . It takes 30 secs and is free . . My van was parked outside the address with my name and number on it if you dont rush to door in 10 seconds they take a pic then leggit . . . Must employ knumbskulls. . Then they have to re deliver which is painful for both sides . . . Is a no brainer!!!!. . .”

We cannot text a number that's on a van outside your home and presume this is you, this could be a breach of your data should this not be you and the driver has made a wrong presumption. Our texts/emails that are sent are automatic notifications set up by the sender of the goods. However, should you ever need to track the delivery to know when the driver will arrive at your home we have live tracking on our website so that you know when the driver will arrive so you can meet him at the door :) Thank you for raising your concerns with us today. “Was given tracking information and told delivery would be made on Friday. Live tracking kept becoming unavailable/estimates kept changing, then eventually at around 4pm they apparently just gave up and took it back to the depot. No movement or further communication over the weekend, so emailed on Monday but got no response. No tracking info to suggest it was out for delivery again. Tuesday came and there was live tracking again, but I seemed to be at the back of the queue (estimated between 2:31pm and 4:31pm) and sure enough at 4pm it all went dark again and nothing got delivered. Tried calling the number for the local depot (before 5pm so still within office hours) and got no answer. Still no reply to the email, either. Will never buy from anywhere that uses them again - would strongly advise any sellers to look elsewhere.”

“Truly awful experience! The driver never called or made presence known I’ve wasted two days watching and waiting only for the delivery period to expire then an email arrive saying ‘delivery was attempted’. It was not. Called customer service who didn’t care at all. Seemed not to believe me then said they can’t redeliver a third time. When I sweared the customer service agent used it as an excuse to hang up on me even though it was obviously not directed to them.”

“Shockingly bad service. We used to get deliveries from apc once a fortnight and they were always late by 1 to 2 weeks. Thankfully the company sending the parcels now use a reliable courier which delivers on time and has tracking that works. Last Thursday I apparently missed the delivery man/woman however the bell never rand, the dogs didn't bark and their was no postcard to say they had been. Rearranged delivery for Friday using the website and it didn't turn up, promised it would arrive Monday, it didn't, prised it would arrive Tuesday, it didn't, promised it would arrive yesterday and surprise surprise it didn't. The company I am getting the parcel from have been inundated with complaints from other customers and are themselves now moving courier companies. The depot don't answer their phone, and if I could give the company 0 stars I would. If you are a company reading this review, save yourself and your customers unnecessary grief and use a proper professional courier service, not these cowboys.”

“I paid for next day delivery. I got an email that gave me a two hour window. I tracked my parcel all day, I saw that the driver was in my area all day. Then.. the delivery NEVER happened. The driver chose to not deliver my parcel even though I paid for that particular service. I called their office. The guy on the other end tells me in a blasé tone that it will be delivered tomorrow. No reason was given as to WHY they CHOSE to STEAL MY MONEY FOR SUB STANDARD SERVICE!!! This swindling company deserves a surprise visit from Trading Standards.. then SHUT DOWN.”
