Quality of oils is very good but delivery charges are extortionate

This was our first order and we placed this to a value exceeding £50 which would have entitled us to a free welcome gift. However as an item we requested was out of stock we did not receive our gift. I feel stock control on this website is an issue as if I had know the item was not available I would of sourced an alternative item. Jacqui

Hi Jacqui, Thank you for your review. Regarding the First Order Bonus this is actually valid on your first order over £100 before VAT and carriage. We can add the free gifts onto your next order (if you order over £100 +vat). Re the out of stock product we will contact you in the future if something isn't available. I Cannot complain about the service that Ancient Wisdom provide , to their online customers , but i was very unlucky with the items that i had ordered most of the goods arrived broke / smashed / damaged , even with the replacements , also were damaged or was out of stock .I was credited for one of the item's out of stock , nothing on damaged goods .

Normally very good but the out of stocks was not good this time had difficulty in putting an order together

The last 2 times I have been to collect my orders and on both occasions my orders took about 40 mins to locate and were also incomplete. Each time the items that were missing were the items I needed most for my customers so I find this service very disappointing. No one informed me that the items were not in stock, had they done so I would have cancelled my order and bought elsewhere

I have recently ordered glassware which was showing in stock but there were no stocks of it left. The glassware goes out of stock for a very long time and when it comes back into stock I can only order a small quantity. Very frustrating

Every order I have placed has had at least one thing damaged or broken. I have emailed at the weekend and sent photos and am awaiting replacements. I have advised that for your heavy items eg salt lamps the boxes used are not strong enough (again see photo sent)

Hi Lynn, Thank you for your review. I checked with our customer services and the replacement has been done and will be dispatched today. I spoke to our purchasing department re the salt lamps. I am a new user to the website and was quite shocked at how most items that i wanted are out of stock which is such a shame as I would have spent far more on my first order. Instead, I have opted for items that I didn't really want but hopefully should sell. I also noted that the website has some faults that need rectifying such as blank squares where photos should be plus when you go to the basket you are unable to see the picture of the product purchased instead you have to open a new browser to type in the product code to view, this really does need improving as its exceptionally frustrating and time wasting and nearly lost the will to live. I have clicked on the notifications for when stock is due in but have yet to receive an email. Today, I also received a part refund on my first order obviously you have no stock on a particular item but haven't told me which items are not available on my 1st order - again very disappointing and feel its disorganized and not very professional. You must have techy personnel that update the website on a daily basis and they really do need to sort out the issues pronto especially being able to view a small picture of the item ordered in your basket. Currently, I await my 1st order so cannot comment on the quality control i just hope its as good as it looks. I would also recommend placing products of interest in the correct category instead of home ware or furnishings etc as I continually seem to stumble across products that are not listed anywhere or in the wrong section. I do hope you organize this far better in the future months to come. My main worry ordering from you is if I find a product that sells well am I going to be able to replenish stock? and at the moment I find this doubtful. I hope your notification function works correctly so that I can place larger quantity orders once in. Maybe limit customers to a certain amount of units of each item so that everyone can order because currently looking at the site most items are out of stock plus underneath is will say its arrival date which has past and still no stock. I expect this is one of your main bug bears with this site so I do hope its improved and you order larger numbers so that all customers can enjoy your products Kindest Regards Joanna

Every single page is touched by our marketing department and every single page is managed by single person. With 1000s of those pages its sometimes very hard to keep up.
